| Hooray for Texas Sunshine, both the one in the sky and our own dear Sugah! Hooray for renovations when they go right! Boo! for those people who display bad manners! The last one is actually a pet peeve of mine, too. It is even more evident when communicating with people through the many social medias available to us now. It is a shame that progress has led to such a decline in basic social niceties. ~ ~ ~ _________________ It's Elle, Baby! Let's eat grandma!. . . Let's eat, Grandma! . . . | What became of "You're Welcome" for that matter Nowadays, it's always "No Problem" There never was a problem You did something nice for me, and I'm thanking you. Actually, some years ago, a hostess at a restaurant seated us. I said "Thank you" and she said "You're Welcome". So I complimented her on her response and she then said "Thank You". And I said "No Problem"... Couldn't resist it She got the joke, and laughed. |

Although, I need to make sure I don't interchange "no problem" along with "you're welcome", Mac. I never thought about it the way you've said it!

Thank you for putting in your two cents, Elleluv and Sir Mac.
IRT-

| I hope your plumbing issues are a thing of the past, Elle. Ranting: Well, it appears our sprinkler system is a far greater issue than either Snacky or our handyman first thought. It's becoming a real pain in their sides! Not sure what Hubby is going to do about it, but his frustration is becoming quite evident. With his busy schedule, he simply doesn't have time for this sort of thing. Free time is something Snacky has verrrrrry little of. It's been that way ever since I first started dating him, unfortunately. Raving: We had a lovely evening with our three girls, SiL and grandgirl last night. We were so proud to see daughter #3 graduate from the Echo-Cardio program. In addition, everyone was in good spirits while celebrating the occasion at Maggiano's in Dallas. Baylee and I had a blast during the graduation. She wanted to sit by Nana and to keep her occupied during the long winded speeches and the calling of all the graduates names til we got to her Aunt's, we whispered potty humor in one another's ears and spent most of the time giggling. I also received lots of hugs from Bay which always absolutely fills my heart to overflowing. |

While the plumbing issues are fixed, the sinks we have to replace have to be special ordered. Why does no one stock anything anymore?
Boo, sprinklers! Boo, lack of free time for hubbies! Boo, plumbling!
Yay, graduates! Yay, quality family time! Yay, giggles with Bay!
As for me:

| Jen, I am sorry you are not feeling better this week, my friend. My thoughts are with you. Take care and get well soon. Rant: I am very sad to learn that Donna Summer, whose music I loved for many years, has died of cancer. She was only 63. I'm bummed that I woke up at 4:30am and could not get back to sleep. I hate it when that happens! Rave: I am thrilled that it is a gorgeous outside today - Sunny and in the 80s. I am happy I have an afternoon with my oldest and Bay tomorrow - That I get to babysit my grandgirl tomorrow night. I am happy I have a movie-shopping-lunch date with my oldest early next week ... AND I am happy I have a lunch-shopping-mani/pedi-happy hour date with Daughters #2 and #3 mid-week. I am also thrilled that our handyman, Monty, may have figured out what the sprinkler system plumbing issue is! |

| I am super sick this time, yay me!! I have a sinus infection, bronchitis, an ear infection and an upper respiratory infection. I am slightly crabby and basically just feel like tee total poo. I usually get one or the other every spring but this time, I really out did myself. Poor Pops is doing his best to avoid me as I make for a really whiny and cranky sink person. I am just glad it happened now before he started chemo. Maybe tomorrow my third day on antibiotics will make for a good turn around _________________ Hey,I got some new shoes on and suddenly everything's alright :)
