| Hi guys! My name is Jen and I live in Indiana. My dear friend edinfresno told me about this site and how awesome you are, so here I am! Hi Ed! *waves* I’m in a wheelchair due to a rare neurological disease, but don’t let that fool you. I can still kick butt with the best of ‘em! I love The Sims 2, and like The Sims 3. I create some for TS2, and I’m looking forward to sharing some of my creations. I’m 26 years old, and I love to write. I’ll write almost any genre of story, but I’m best at writing horror. Not published yet, but I’m hoping to change that soon. I love horror movies, zombies in particular. I enjoy a good George Romero movie and am a hardcore nerd for The Walking Dead. I guess that’s all! I look forward to getting to know you. | |

Not the part about the neurological disease/wheel chair, but your kick butt attitude!!! I used to read horror novels, as I have always been a King and Koontz fan. Strangely enough, I am easily spooked, so I don't ever watch horror movies. I don't think I've seen one single zombie flick, but I'll be interested in any Sims version you've written, Jen.

| Hi and Welcome Jen!!! Always good to meet another Hoosier! I think this is the best Sims 2 site around, some might say I am biased, but I think they are just jealous! | |

| Hey, Jen! Big hugs to you, hon! I'm so glad you made it here. I think you're going to like it here very much. Members here have done a great job making this a warm, friendly and happy place. SP is unique in the Sims community. It's very much a sweet, refreshing oasis in a vast and barren desert.
Oh, and let me say, dear one, that I couldn't be more proud of you even if you were my own flesh-and-blood daughter. You've acomplished a lot in a few short years and gone from being a bitter, angry young woman to being a fine and noble inspiration to all around you! (HUGS!)
Welcome! |

Thank you! I look at the positives of all of this, for example, being physically challenged (I HATE the word ‘disabled’ because I’m able, just different) has made me extremely creative and resourceful, since I have to figure out different ways to do things that are easy and fun for me. - Quote :

Strangely enough, I am easily spooked, so I don't ever watch horror movies. I don't think I've seen one single zombie flick, but I'll be interested in any Sims version you've written, Jen. I am a huge fan of Jonathan Maberry, his book Dead of Night scared the fudge out of me! And I've loved anything horror since I was eight years old, so it's almost impossible to scare me. So that book is just... WOW. I illustrated one of my zombie stories with TS2, but I'm not sure if I can post it here, due to the violence, and the bloodiness of the zombies. Thank you guys for the warm welcome! Y'all sure know how to make a newbie feel welcome!

| Hi Jen, You'll be joining quite a group of writers here - Ari now has a novel on Amazon, and Toni, while not writing a novel per se, has posted quite a story about her ongoing 'hood. My wife, Maikki (the better half of M&M) is starting to write now as well. to this site. You'll find a lot of good Sims 2 stuff and a lot of nice people! mac | |

| Hi Jen! Welcome to Sugah's!
I'm a Hoosier, too! And I just self-published a book on Amazon. It took me forever to finally do it, but it feels like a great achievement - so I wish you lots of luck with that!

| Hi Mooncat, I wonder what your take is on the current style of vampire stories. They all seem to be charming, debonair, and very spiritual. The current TV series features a "Dracula" that seems more likely to open a Selfridge's Department Store. Maikki wrote of Renfield in the new series, that rather than the original tortured character, the major tragedy of his life might be (allowing a certain amount of anachronism) "to lose his iPad". I do appreciate, however, the tribute to Nikola Tesla. But what a change from Bela Lugosi! mac BTW, I'm currently reading Dodger by Terry Pratchett (better know as the author of the Discworld Series). The novel sees the world from the viewpoint of The Artful Dodger, a character in Dickens' Oliver Twist. He encounters any number of Victorian historical figures - Dickens, Disraeli, and even Charles Babbage and Lady Lovelace. It's full of inside jokes, cockney rhyming slang, and outrageous but entirely appropriate metaphors. I've been falling off my chair laughing. Good tale, too. | |

But what a change from Bela Lugosi! affraid I like some modern vampire tales, such as True Blood, Lost Girl, 30 Days of Night, etc. I'm loyal to the original vampires mostly, but I do like tales where they may have a sense of humanity, but they still have a merciless, bloodthirsty side. One "vampire" tale I CANNOT stand is Twilight. No no no no NO! Real vampires DON'T sparkle!

| Why has no one ever done an Archie Bunker-esque vampire? Now that would be interesting!
"Hey, Edith! Get me anothah bottle'a trueblood! An' stifle yourself!" lol!
Okay, now I gotta do a story with an Archie Bunker vampire in it! Sheesh! The things I do to myself! LOL! |
