Box Links Workaround

Many of you may have run into problems downloading things from Box.  
The file appears to be there , but nothing happens when you click to download.

Well, if you hadn't already stumbled across this...a workaround has been discovered. As long as the user hadn't actually deleted the file, you can still access it.

Yes Sugah, it's become very common.  Someone even reported it was happening to one of my links and the file is there!!  It's not deleted or anything.  You try to download, and it just hangs...nothing happens!

I think I saw somewhere on Tumblr in the last couple of days, that someone had just created an add-on for Chrome and Firefox to download Box links.  I will hunt around for it and add it to this post.

Digital Angels posted the auto workaround. I've not yet tried it because...well, the set up looks complicated-ish, though once it's done it would be a cinch to use.

If anyone tries it, I'd love to get some feedback.
