Hi everyone!

Hi everyone, I just joined this site after learning about if from Caleb_71. I'm really glad I found it. I'm planning to create a new hood and so I'm looking for townie replacements and some new residents. I can see there's a lot of selection here.

I mostly hang around the B.A.S. sims site, but I'm a lurker on many other sites. Alas, I don't create, but I do, really do appreciate those who do. My game wouldn't be the same without them. So thanks everyone!

Thanks, Russ. I did download Priya Ramaswami. Your version is definitely more wild than the Eaxis version. I'd love to see more replacements.

It's a little late twerplina...as technically we've already met! But officially....

We're a friendly bunch around these parts. Oh...my name is Toni btw...that's my sim self (well...a much younger sim self! ) up there in the banner. Been playing TS2 since it's release in 2004 and before that I was a TS1-er. I've been having so much fun with TS2...I'm no where close to moving on

I've also been playing since the beginning (TS1 and TS2), although it took me awhile to get caught up on all the EPs. I had to get a new system before I could do that. And now that I am and have been planning a new hood I'm finding a lot of sites with stuff I wanted have closed. Happily there are sites to be discovered, like this one. :)

Hi Karen welcome to Sugah's Place! Have you checked the Graveyard for any of the missing sites. When sims 2 sites shut down with permission they are sometimes hosted at the graveyard. I'm sure you'll find lots of old sites there.

Thanks for all the welcomes and the suggestion. Yes, I do check the graveyard. It's helped on more than one occasion. One site I had just discovered and then closed was Sirona Sims. The graveyard doesn't have a lot of her stuff up...yet. In fact I should probably give them some stuff as I'd gone on a downloading spree shortly before it closed. But I had been checking out her many skintones, hadn't decided on which ones and when I went back the site was gone.

Thank you for the congrats, Karen. That is a beautiful kitty in your avatar. What's his/her name?

Her name was Jenny (short for no-name generic cat). She passed away about 12 years ago but she lives on online. Our nickname for her was 'twerp' or 'twerpolina' and when I first had to come up with a user name awhile back, the first thing that came to mind was twerpolina, but I misspelled it! Henceforth I became twerplina. For us it was a term of endearment really, but of course, not elsewhere. So if I'd thought longer about how 'twerp' is really used I might have picked something else.

We got her before we had any kids and my mother kept telling me how it's too bad we had used such a nice name like Jenny on our cat. Ironically, my daughter-in-law's name is -- you guessed it -- Jenny.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your kitty, but I love the way you have chosen to keep her memory alive.
