Yes they get very warm very quickly ... and with Windows 7 everything that can goes wrong, goes wrong ...

That pic is hilarious, Jackie! I love it! Laptops do tend to run hot, the more powerful the more likely. Do you have a cooling unit on yours? Also, did you look at this thread? There are some tips on dealing with Windows 7 and the sims.
