Sugah, I don't know how long I've been playing Bejeweled Blitz. It's been on my iPod a long time, at least a year. My tips are to try to get all the multiplier gems you can in every game. When I have a decent amount of coins (at least 100,000) and there's a reduced special gem available, I take it and three boosts (usually the x2, +5 seconds, and Detonator). My favorite special gems are the ones that allow you win more coins at the end of each game, like the apple. I also like the Progressive one because I can really score points with it. Even if I'm not going to play, I check in most evenings to spin for my free points.

Princess, I like the hidden object games. I don't have one on this computer, but I had a fun one on my old computer. In addition to the hidden object screens, there would be other kinds of puzzle to solve at certain points in the game.

I, too, wait til I have over 100,000 coins, then purchase special points-earning gems. Currently, my fave is the Progressive one! I have received some incredibly high scores using that option. And I always try to get my free spin nightly, as well. I don't think I've used the apple option yet, at least not that I can recall. Will give that one a try soon.

Sugah, I play Bejeweled Blitz on my iTouch and, ever since the last update, I can't get through a whole game without the app crashing.    I hope you're not having the same problem. If it stays like this, you'll be caught up to me in no time!

Could that be the problem? Is there a recent update you need to apply?
