Sorry about the abrupt departure. Mommy duty suddenly called as if she heard me talking about her. It always amazes me how children get heat rashes. It is cold in here to me, but it must just be me. Anyway, she seems fine this morning, but today is supposed to be a hot one, and we do have some things to do outdoors. Hopefully the in and out of the truck won't aggravate it too much.

How does one treat a heat rash? The same way you treat other rashes?
With Benadryl or Cortisone cream?

You really don't need anything that strong. most times it will fade on its own, but Calamine Lotion will help if it doesn't. You can use the remedies you mentioned, but generally it passes within a day. If children are prone to it though, it tends to come and go in the hot months.

I usually use the older, been around forever methods. I feel if it isn't broke, why fix it? It is supposed to go up to 93, and will feel like 101. Yikes!
