New cup...

An old friend of Ilikefishfood from the old Insimenator mod forum on Modthesims2.com...That's going back a few years Sims-wise. Back then I used the name Grykon, but due to some glitch either with me or the board, that name can't be used here. lol Hope everyone is off to a good New Year! I'm getting closer to 50 then I like, but it's better then not getting closer. The wifey and I have loved sims since the original, though we remain defiant against 'upgrading' to TS3. We are however, looking forward to the release of Sims Medieval!

How odd! When I do a search in the admin panel area for username Grykon, nothing pulls up.

See if you can change Mort's username to Grykon or something close to it.
I think it let's members do that.

This is strange. I went into the admin panel & tried to change Mort to Grykon myself.
I got a message that the username Grykon was already taken. What the?

So, I did another search for it, but STILL, it did not pull up a Grykon.
Not sure what the scoop is, but...
I DID change Mort to Grykon1 for you. I hope this is acceptable.
If you'd rather be Mort, we can always change it back.

Mort is fine, I use it on some other sims boards. Just more people knew me as Grykon.

Oh and if you haven't tried Sims Medieval yet...blah. It's a very different setup and I am not sure I will ever like it. Course I haven't gotten to play it much yet. But what little I did on the wife's computer, it was interesting, but not enough to really make me want to put up with the locomotion of moving around the game to do things.

And sims 2 was so mean to me reinstalling it. Would you believe it took me almost 3 hours last night and when I went to run it this morning, all it said I had installed was base+OFB...I had to go back and reinstall Uni and NL again. *sigh* I got to get a graphics card...the onboard graphics are okay, but ick.

Yeah, I heard. Astral Faery gave us a wonderful review. She started off liking it for what it was, but ultimately got a bit frustrated. You can check out here review in her thread. It starts here but continues over a few posts. Actually, if you like the Medieval theme, you'll like her whole thread. She plays a Medieval TS2 game...there's some pretty awesome Medieval-themed stuff out there for our TS2 simmies.
