Penelope's Journey

Don't worry about it, Sugah. I update so rarely, it's easy to miss. I'm getting pretty close to completing the end of Chapter I, so I'm getting excited to work on this story again.

Em, I've been working hard to get caught up in the forum and with my friends' Sims tales today.
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed Chapter I-VIII - The One.

As always, you manage to take the reader back in time brilliantly.
I remain in awe of your costumes & set designs.
I especially like the image of Penelope slipping away from the angry townspeople unnoticed.
Great snapshot! Love the authentic village & cobblestone street!!!

Penelope turned on her heels and started towards the fortress.

That girl's gotten quite brave and bold, hasn't she?
It's obvious Penelope has a good heart, hoping that by showing up at the fortress where the tyrant Villetes and mysterious Onyx are ...
They might possibly release the innocent villager girls who were captured in her stead.

I'm still lovin' all the muscular soldiers' legs, btw.
I enjoyed this chapter, as I have all the rest, and look forward to the next one, Em.

I've taken most of the pictures for the rest of the chapter and I almost have the next update ready. I hit a bit of a snag when I realized my next picture contradicts something I previously said in the text, so I have to figure out exactly how I want to write my next paragraph to work around it. It shouldn't be too hard. Really, I just need to get back to it.

Yes, but lately I haven't had much motivation to work on sim stories and this summer I think is going to be pretty busy. So I don't know when I will ever get back to it.

Finished up the next installment.  (Unfortunately now, I'm thinking about writing it as if I'd started at a different point in time.  But for the simmed version of it anyway, I'll carry on.)

Chapter I-IX - Tensions Rising




Penelope bravely (or naively, depending on your point of view and how this works out for her) goes before the tyrant and encounters another familiar face.

Trevander, under Onyx's orders, returns to the fortress to retrieve Penelope.

I updated this story at the beginning of the month, but forgot to share that fact here.  So if anyone is interested . . .


(P.S. This installment features lots of muscular soldier's legs especially for our Sugah's enjoyment. (And for anyone else here who may enjoy that kind of thing. )

I also finally got around to finishing another update of this story after more than a year of inactivity.  Also I lied last time, there is one more part to Chapter I after this update (if I actually get around to writing and simming it.)  It was either going to be a part of this part or an epilogue, but now I'm planning on just a separate part.  Anyway.

My goal when I started to sim this story was to at least complete the first chapter (I probably never will finish the entire story in either written form or sim form.) and with chapter my goal is accomplished!  

I will probably go ahead and try to sim Chapter II, which I wrote a rough draft of for NaNoWriMo the year before last, but expect my usual slowness with updates.  

I just finished reading the whole story and I am now hooked. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Awesome! Thanks so much! Fair warning though, if you look on the dates on my updates you'll see I'm very, very slow with updates, but I have a hard time giving up. I hope I won't disappoint. The next chapter is on my mind though.

Well I am sure that it will be worth the wait.
