| Wassup everybody my name is Mahogany and this is my first time joining a sims 2 forum. I've been playing the sims since I was 11 now i'm 24....u do the math :).... i just wanted to say hey guys and happy simming lol.  ( i thought this was so cute by the way lol ) | |

It sounds as though you've been playing since the year of the original Sims release. My daughter taught me in the autumn of the year 2000 to play TS1 and I've loved the game ever since! | NIce to meet all u guys......yes sugah i have been playing since 2000 and i loooove it... but i haven't played the pc version of the sims 3 yet cause my laptop can't run it  ....hopefully soon i willl get a better pc lol | |

| Most of us here would agree you aren't missing a thing by not being able to play the Sims 3, M. We are all about the Sims 2 here and are still lovin' that version BEST!  | |

| Greetings to a very young member of Sugah's place  from a very old one  . I hope that you will enjoy this forum as much as I. Wonderful creations, and the people!  Regarding Sims 3, I was really looking forward to it's coming out, I bought it, installed it, played it, didn't like it, uninstalled it, forgot it!  There are a lot of people who are sticking with Sims 2.  | |

When Will Wright developed SimCity, he shopped it around various publishers with more or less the same result; "How do you win?" "You don't" "Goodbye" Then he founded Maxis himself and the rest is history.  That said, he had nothing to do with Sims 3 at all and it shows. How do you "win" Sims 2??? You don't, that's not the point. 'Nuff said! (BTW, all of us involved with Sims 2 are winners!) | |
