It is. The lighting wasn't the best in that picture. I think she had her back to the sun. The top one has more definition, the bottom one is a little softer. It was just a quicky picture, since I didn't have a lot of time.

I agree. I didn't want to put him in a suit, because I wanted him to be dressed a little more casual, since he was out on a date with his lady. But he was proposing to her, so I didn't want him to be too casual. I may share some pics of him in another outfit and see how he looks. I think he and his fiancee are becoming one of my favorite couples. They're so cute! I'll share pictures of them both as soon as I finish my next episode of Arrendale Heights. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who's reading it. But it should be soon if school work doesn't bog me down again. It's almost finished.

Would you want me to offer him as a sim for download here, Sugah? I was going to package him up for Mac and anyone else who's interested in having him anyway. I've got to extract him and change his skin and eyes to the non-default replacement versions first.

I would love it if you packaged him up for this site.
There are a lot more women than men, and so many of the men are complete hunks. We need more "real" men like Jeremy and Nathaniel. I'm constantly on the search for "a few good men" since my neighborhood is over 60% women.

An interesting second thought, though - most of the women in the Modeling Agency, etc are the female equivalent of "hunks".

I think most of my sim men are what you would call real men. I'm not really into the bodybuilder types. Even the slim bodybuilder usually looks too big for me. There's an athlete mesh that's pretty nice. I think that's what I used on my Logan (or maybe it is the slim bodybuilder now that I look at the file). Here he is with his wife (and their kids and the neighbor kids in the background).



I remember Ari was kind of partial to him and I actually offered to package him up for her a long time ago, but never got around to it. So I went ahead and packaged them both. If Sugah wants them for the site, I'll do the official pictures and posts and stuff, but for now I'll just link them up here so any of you can have them.

Here's Nathaniel Broadswood-Smythe (aka Simon) He's not dressed as a professor, because I wanted to put him in an outfit that is basegame compatible. The other ensemble is from freetime. If you have freetime you can change it in CAS. Here's what he's packaged with . . .

Tis true, good sir. The Modeling Agency provides snackolicious "hunks", as you've said.
Perhaps a few "average guy next door" type virtual fellas should be offered from time to time, too.

Oops, you're right. I thought for sure I picked the non-default version before I packaged it. I'll fix that before I do an official download. I may have to give him different eyes. I think I have some non defaults that are similar. I made those eyes default replacements myself, so maybe it overrode the original. I'll check into it.

Yes, his skin is different. I was using the Louis default replacements, but then I switched to a different set. If you have the Louis ones you can switch it to his old look if you prefer.

Usually, when we update on Saturday, I ask everyone to have their offerings posted by late Friday night (15th) or very early Saturday morn (16th).
I normally request a head shot of the Sim in advance (thru email) for our update jpg a day or two before.

Here's a picture of the two skintones in better lighting. It's not a huge difference and either one looks fine. I just prefer the second. It makes her look more like herself, from back when I used the Maxis skintones.



Chase helped me play the other day. I was trying to decorate / build a community lot. He kept saying, "I'm putting everything outside!"



He was disappointed that the horses didn't move and that there was no little boy with a shovel to play in the dirt.

The problem with defaults is that when we want to change them, all of our characters/sims change looks - some for the better and some for the worse. I've kind of been wanting to try some different defaults in my medieval hood, but I'm terrified that some of my favorite sims will look different.

Cassie is lovely either way, though, and you need to go with what you like best.

True! That's why I played around with so many different ones before I could settle on a set that I liked and looked good on everyone.

Here's some pictures of Simon with his new fiance . . . Reese. I had a few single guys in my hood for her and a couple of the other single (and not single) ladies to choose from. None of them seemed to really click for her. The one I made just before Simon was a strong possibility, but he wasn't very photogenic outside of CAS. Reese and Simon are so cute together. I think they're becoming a favorite couple of mine. And look at how happy Reese seems...

Awesome! I think he and Reese ended up with three bolts in my game. They started with two, but it went up as they got to know each other.

You probably know that I've always liked Reese. She's cute and ever so charming, and I really like the personality you gave her in your story, strong and independent, and full of many struggles that just make her stronger. It's great to see her with a good man that she can connect with, and they look adorable together.

Nathaniel (aka Simon) is in my neighborhood now and is married to a very attractive EA NPC. In my hood they are an entirely devoted couple: Knowledge/Virgo sims. Nathaniel and Nerissa have a baby. Had he been a boy he would have been Simon, but she's Simone instead. Pics of the courtship, wedding, and honeymoon posted in my hood, pics of Simone to follow.

Oh my goodness. I wonder why he's such a cad in your game, Jackie. Shame on him. I'm glad he's behaving better for Mac. I hope he doesn't start acting like that in my game too. But if he does . . . I could work with that. :muahaha:

Drooling over school girls? I think it's hilarious though that she's like, "Ew, why is this geeky old guy checking me out? Creepy!"

There was a lot of craziness going on in this lot while I was trying to film. Here's some extras getting in trouble while waiting in the background. You never know what's going to happen in a lot when you teleport a big group of sims in.



I don't think Vince likes this guy picking on his little sister. I think he'd better go over there and do something about it.

And yet he is so well behaved in Mac's game...

I still find it fascinating when a Sim seems to have a mind of his/her own, regardless of our intentions for that Sim.

So far my version hasn't tried any inappropriate interactions or tried to flirt with any else yet. I guess he just can't help noticing the girl walking around with her midrift showing and low-rise jeans, even if she's only 14. The funny thing was that I noticed her expression before I saw him and before her thought bubble appear. I was eager to see who she was having that negative reaction too. I wasn't expecting him.

I'm trying to decide what I want to share next and where. I've been trying to play (my own version of) the Royal Kingdom challenge and I have to say it's a lot of fun. I would totally recommend it to anyone. Even if you don't have or want period downloads in your game, I think it would be a fun way of playing in just a regular modern hood. My royal family ended up having triplets. My first ever. I'm starting to wonder if my game is trying to follow in the footsteps of Ari's. (I did have other births in that hood before the triplets and they were all single births, thankfully.) I'd share a picture, but I don't think I got one with all three together. I'm debating on whether I should make a thread for it in the general challenge area.

I've got another Name a Sim idea for you all, since the last one was kind of fun. I have a sim couple that's expecting a baby very soon (very soon, depending on when I get a chance to play this family next) and the baby is going to need a name. This may not work as well without having a picture of a sim to work with, but I thought I'd see if it inspired anyone. If not I'll come up with something.

He didn't seem interested in any particular job, so he decided to be a stay at home dad. Sophie is an orphan. Christopher's mom was famed actress Miriam Connelly and his dad, her second husband, Zaitarrio Straight, left before he was born. He has an older brother named Byron and a stepfather (his mom's third husband) who's name I don't remember . . . it's been awhile since I visitied them.
