What's the last thing you watched? The Muppets (2011) - The critics raved about it and I thought it was borderline pathetic. I do not get what all the hoopla was about over it.   
What's the last thing you listened to? The Muppets singing The Rainbow Connection, which was the BEST part of the entire flick.

Hmmm...I never saw it, nor have I had any desire to check it out. As you know I am not big on watching anything so I am really picky about what I do decide to watch. Thanks for your insight. For me it was valuable, but for 'The Muppets' and their creators maybe not so much.

I have always liked the Muppets. Years ago, while raising my kids, we watched Sesame Street together. I am an admirer of the late Jim Henson's talent and the legacy of the Muppet puppets he left behind. So, when the critics raved about the latest Muppet movie, I wanted to check it out. Even the tv ratings gave it 4 stars.
I must have been missing something, 'cause I was NOT impressed even one iota.
The only part I liked was the grand finale when the cast sang "Rainbow Connection" (one of my all time fave Kermit songs). I told hubby when it was over, "So glad we didn't listen to the critics and go out sight unseen and spend the money to add the blu-ray to our collection!"

I LOVED the new Star Trek movies, Aaron.
The casting was superb and SPOT ON, in my humble opinion.
I was a fan of the original Star Trek series many moons ago and couldn't have been more pleased with the way the 2 newest Star Trek movies turned out!!!

@ Sugah I never had any problems with the cast, I thought they did a good job in the first reboot movie. My main concern was that the writers were going to go and rehash the movie Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan, But thankfully they didn't really.
