Advil or Tylenol?

Advil! (actually the generic ibuprofen - the same stuff - is much cheaper than brand  name Advil)

Advil/Ibuprofen is an NSAID - Non-Steroidal-Anti-Inflammatory-Drug and thus is also good for reducing inflammation - arthritis et al.
Tylenol (generic Acetaminophen) is simply an analgesic.

NSAIDs (including aspirin) have mild anticoagulant properties. If you're going into the hospital for a procedure or simply a scoping, they usually recommend Tylenol to reduce the possibility of bleeding.

OTOH, Tylenol is very dangerous if overdosed - and that can happen if you take Tylenol, then Nyquil or some other cold med that contains Tylenol.

I'm Advil/ibuprofen all the way!
