There is a fix by Nopke for the black squares under Sims, where you normally have to turn shadows down to medium. There is also a sky fix as well.

Thanks Russ. I've had to set my shadows to medium to get rid of it...thrilled to be able to get back my high shadow settings.

Russ, I was just thinking about you the other day, hoping things are going well for you since your surgery.

Thanks for pointing out this fix. I downloaded it, went into my game, set shadows to high, and it's beautiful!
