| I just wanted to stop in Jackie's thread and say how very much I miss him and have been so concerned about him. I've tried contacting him through Facebook for quite awhile now, but to no avail. I just wish we knew whether he is truly alright. Has anyone heard from our dear Jackie? It's been such along time since he's been in touch. | |

You and me both, Ulli! Claire, I like your use of space and the floor plan of this large abode. Love the kids' rooms! Thank you for sharing what's been going on in your game with us. It's always a pleasure to find you here, my friend.

You got that right, Em. For as hard as I try, I still can't manage good looking roofs. Sometimes auto-roofing just doesn't do the job quite right. That being said... This is fabulous, Jen! I absolutely love it. I agree with Em. The walls & lighting are so cool. You've found the perfect decor (as always) to adorn Moss Cottage. You continue to amaze me with your ability to put together a house so beautifully. I remain, as always, ever envious, m'lady.

| When I saw this thread had been bumped, I was hoping it was him checking in. I have tried to reach him through FB and PM, too. I do hope he's all right. He is definitely missed. | |

| True, autoroof doesn't work the best for everything. But at least it will give you a complete roof . . . which I have trouble with on the manual roof options. And there isn't even an option for auto conical roofs, otherwise I would have used it. lol
Wow! I just can't get over how beautifully realistic and detailed your sims' homes are. It really blows me away, every time.

| That's good news, Jen, I'm glad you were able to get ahold of his daughter and to hear he's ok. Bummer about no internet, though. | |

| Pity you won't be uploading them - they are awesome lots. Interesting architecture and tasteful colors throughout both of them - I like the brick wall/wood floor combo - the rooms of both lots flow nicely. Lots of window, too! I love the balcony garden in the first lot, and the loft style bedroom in the second. They look like a nice size - not real big, but you really did a lot with the space you had. I'd totally download them, but I understand if you'd rather keep them to yourself - they're fantastic! | |

| I have M&G on order and will be receiving it soon, but I have a question for those of you who use it. I'm concerned about some of my hacks/mods/game fixes not working. I have many! Have you noticed any conflicts with any of yours? I checked into the biggies - ACR and INTEEN, and I think I'm ok there, but I have so many other useful mods that simply say "works up through AL". That doesn't really tell me anything, as M&G came out after that. Anything I need to know before I install it? | |

| Ari, I have not noticed any problems with hacks that say they are safe through AL. Even some things that are updated to an expansion before AL are good, but in that case it depends on what parts of the game script it touches upon. You should be good if it is updated for AL, though. You are going to love M&G so it is worth the efforts. - Mac wrote:

The Mansions & Garden Expansion/Stuff pack.

| I did not have any problems when I loaded M&G, although since I have deleted about 100 hacks, as I loaded an add on that has many hacks pre loaded. A hospital and a soon to be updated working school are included.
It is only available at an adult site, so no links.

| Thanks for your responses, everyone! I was just a little nervous about installing Mansions & Gardens since I've read that it acts more like an expansion pack than a stuff pack. I'm looking forward to getting it soon - then I can download whatever I want with no limits!! | |

| Well, it looks like I am starting all over with my downloads again one day. I had a few moments yesterday and thought I was going to play my game. Sadly, I had to totally delete my entire download folder and uninstall my game :((

| Oh, Jen! What a bummer! You tried putting the downloads back into the folder little by little, but the game would continue to crash? Or wouldn't it start up at all? I'm so sorry you're having to start from scratch again. I have no doubt every one of us can relate and empathyze. | |

What happened?! I know sometimes one has to uninstall the game, but you had to delete your downloads?! I can't imagine losing all that stuff. I'm so afraid that you may be too overwhelmed to start again. I'm going in to work early today, but I've got an idea. You and I have a lot of the same downloads. When I come home later, I can zip up my build and buy mode folders - all sub-foldered by type or creator - and upload them to Box or mediafire and send them to you. Pleeeease accept them.
