| Ari, I'm sorry to hear about this! I only download lots from SFU or create them myself. I learned the hard way too. I had a mailbox issue a while back and used DDO and clean installer and went in and searched for everything with the name mailbox. I deleted all of it and the recolors and then I used SimPe to tell me what the files were with just the numbers and found the offending piece of CC finally! I hope all of it gets straightened out for you soon! I have the zombie mods too and they are creepy awesome!!! Hugs! SS | |

| I completely missed these posts. Sorry about that!
I did end up getting the mod out - but no search for mailbox pulled it up (or anything else I could think of). I just took out a chunk and got lucky. I haven't been playing at all lately because I've been so busy writing. I am starting to miss it, though. I actually have pictures from the last time I played, I should get my arse together and get them posted eventually. I've even peeked in on my Medieval Kingdomshire challenge, too.
Cheers, everyone! | |

| Woah! The Sugah Babies take on a whole new look when you get hold of them, Jean! I recognize Ari, Sugah & Toni. And I see Toni's Kyle, but...I don't know those other two fellas. I'm bummed all but one of Keanu's pics are not working! Would've loved to see more of him. | |

I hear ya. I rarely get to play and when I finally do, I long to return to my pixel people. - Quote :

| What have I been up to? Well...I've still been playing with my one neighborhood all this time if you can believe it? Most of what I've done with it is on my Dreamwidth so I won't spam you with the photo's here, but I will share a recent couple photoshoot I've done with some of the couples: That's not all of them - my game was temperamental when I was trying to take pics with some of them so I'll have to do some over :( I'm also working on putting their spawn up for download as well. Here's a couple of them for example: This is Faraway Yagami - son of Atem and Kira and younger half sibling of Flick and Flutterina I'll figure out which kid this is later xp And I've begun re-introducing people to the beginning of my Sunshine legacy which I still have not started again, but I'm still pretty gung ho with my Bombe Legacy, which I'm halfway through the 2nd gen. Here's all the kiddies from this gen: And just recently I got an idea of using some of my old story characters - some of them are actors in a soap opera drama; however, the drama goes BEYOND what the camera sees and yes, it'll retain the same name as my old story - My Place In This World - but the name is pertaining to the soap opera name which is kinda fitting if you think about the names of some of the soap operas that are on tv anyhow: As the World Turns, All My Children, Days Of Our Lives, Another World, The Young & The Restless, etc :D See? I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to get started on it, but also I'll be incorporating it between the Strangetown and Pleasantview neighborhoods since one of my LJ friends showed me how to link different main and subhood's together (before you ask, the link for that information is here :D), so I'll be using the sims from those neighborhoods. I've got a lot of storyboarding to think about because I need to think about the time frame and everything I want this to be in. I won't be so detailed as Tony with her fabulous story (I miss you my friend! ) but I'll have enough detail for the families that I will utilize and I'm sure I'll utilize ALL of them either as well, but I'm very excited about this project and I promise I'll keep you guys informed about it as it develops ok? | |

With all that hotness they will be fine. They are smokin'! Ari, this apocalypse challenge is great. You have me leaning toward getting Fallout. I have been on the fence about it for some time now. I would never be able to let an unknown force control the types of sims in my 'hood that way, but I am loving the zombie attack thing. You get major props for your lots, especially since we know how much you abhor building. As always, it is a pleasure to read about your pixel people's adventures. I hope you share more soon.

| Hey y'all! I don't have much today, since I spent most of my time downloading CC for my game for the first time and testing it all out. But I made the King and Queen for my Royal Kingdom challenge! This is King Richard Durante. His traits are Ambitious, Brave, Handy, Lucky, and Snob. His LTW is to become an astronaut. --- (I don't have any fancy men's medieval clothing yet, so he's starting a new fashion trend in the 1500s) ;) And his wife, Aliana. Originally I wanted to name her Francesca, but then I realized that FrancesCO Durante was a composer who wrote an Italian art song I've performed. And that's when I realized where I pulled that last name from. Lol. :P Aliana's traits are Family-Oriented, Good, Neat, Nurturing, and Proper. Her LTW is to raise 5 children from babies to teenagers. :) --- Hopefully I'll have more later this week. I still have so many families to create. I'm excited just thinking of it! :D | |

Sandy and Elle, you are both correct. This IS exclusively a Sims 2 site. Upon thinking about Holly sharing her TS3 Sim antics at SP, I responded HERE. Holly, you might want to check our rules for sharing in this section HERE regarding content allowed and images sizes, etc.

| This is my new baby. His name is Haf :) I'm still in the process of getting things together on it, and from the way I'm getting things going, it may not be til either near the end of the year or the first of the year before I start actually playing. Just a note, if you had one of my downloaded sims, hopefully nothing happens to it because I got rid of all of my old legacy sims and whatnot. It's time to more forward, not stand around in the same spot. I got rid of all of my old legacies and stuff as well. I have new ideas of what sort of challenges and whatnot I want to do that's somewhat new and refreshing, so stay tuned. | |

| Thank you both for your kind words :) It's going to be a while though before any game play actually begins, because from my previous play, I've found out of what NOT to do and how to keep my game from imploding so much, and thus I have this list of background build up before my game takes place that I'm working through currently: 1. Install games - done 2. Replace/Merge Neighborhoods - Done 3. Download essential elements - simpe, cep, etc - done 4. Get all hair defaults - done 5. Learn how to do hair defaults - on hold 6. Input all the clothes defaults - in progress 7. Gather new cc / Sims - in progress 8. Input Multi PT hack 9. Set up R.O.S. 10. Gather new custom hairs - in progress 11. Get screen shots of hairs I like so i know what’s what - done 12. Make spreadsheet of default vs custom hairs so they’re all different - in progress 13. Collect MM custom hairs - in progress 14. Make over all houses & businesses bt Pleasantview & Strange town 15. Input default makeup, skin tone & eyes - done 16. Input Light & Camera mods - done 17. Update Userstartup Cheat list - done 18. Do any sim requests - in progress (1 of 3 completed) 19. Update layouts on LJ, DW and Tumblr - Tumblr completed; other 2 to be done (Yes, I keep adding stuff to this list - oh lord »;;;) So yes...that's what's got me fit to be tied for some time to come. Don't worry, you'll know when I'm playing ;) | |

I think I am going to try this to organize my ever growing list of projects. Thanks for the idea! Hello ladies and thank you both for commenting! I actually have some test images I shot in game once I finally, got far enough along in getting things set up to see how it was going to be. Now this isn't from the official hood I'll be going 1 of 2 stories/challenges in, no. I've posted these over on my Tumblr, since that's like the place to be nowadays - and I have a tendancy to forget about here - I apologize sincerely ILUG!!! I swear I do! Ok, so when I went in game for the first time, I used these two sims: The female is one of mine. Her name is Chile - yes, like the place in South America; the male is one I downloaded from a follower of mine on tumblr by the name of Rebellionicecream. His name is Hyun Ki. Problem #1: Little black box I researched, asked around and everything on this, but you know what worked? Turning shadows OFF, so...that was that Well, secondly I wanted to try out this Multi PT hack done by another good friend of mine from LJ - who has - like most of us - migrated over to Tumblr - Poppet. If you've not tried a Multi PT hack yet, you do not know what you're missing! They're fantastic! The one I used is near the bottom of this page. If you're curious about how to input a Multi PT, I have 2 links for you: 1. http://simgaroop.dreamwidth.org/39709.html <-- this one shows you what do do with just a SINGLE multi pt Now mind you, once you put these files into your downloads folder, you're not supposed to take them out; you can, however, mix and match, and to do so, consult this link 2. http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/thread-2541.html < -- editing a multi-pt by Lee Alright, so...I was sending both of them up, and neither of them would come back pregnant. I first remedied this by taking out all, but very very essential mods that I could not remove otherwise I'd be reinstalling - and I'd already reinstalled once due to a scare regarding the launcher button - I'll talk about that in a bit - and so then when I found out that wasn't working either, then I got this brainstorm - remove the files from the subfolder and just put them out in the downloads area. Bingo! So, now I've learned my lesson Well, heck, you try being out of touch with something you love for over 5 months and see if it comes back to you very quickly, eh? Ok, so mommy carried both babies. Wait...BOTH babies? Yes, because when I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get them alien pregnant, I cheated w the simblender to make sure pregnancy was possible period! So, I blended her and Hyun's genes the first time and here's the first result - I'm sorry if you can't see her very well. Her name is Aurora And Hyun's a very good daddy :) Here's the 2nd baby. Her name is Zexal and you see the outfits they're wearing? Those are defaults and yes, those got tested out too. This baby is from Bibi and she inherited Bibi's eyes, but everything else seems to be Chile as far as I can tell. They BOTH have brown hair, so that doesn't really matter, so I was tickled pink that my Multi PT hack was working correctly too. I haven't tried the second method where you can switch out PT's; I had tried it, but I guess it was because everything was in the subfolder that it didn't show up, so I'll try it again at a later date and let you guys know how it worked. Hyun: "Screw you and your fancy suit!" Craig: "Yeah?! Well screw you and your long black nails!" *EPIC POUTING MANEUVER* (Silly Hyun can dish it out, but can't take it ) Chile's nice enough to give him a hug to make him feel better - even though they argued amongst themselves as well. That, of course, is due to the hack, interactwogreet, which allows Sims to interact any way they want - including fighting - w/o having any sort of relationship at all. And Craig Ray was also in a default because normally he's in a mess of an outfit. Yes, my defaults were working - which ones I had in anyway - but I'm about to redo all that to prevent duplication because I'm finding that there's some outfits in each age group that are the same, thus if I just have it in one group, I don't need it for the other. However, here's another example to show my defaults were working - Kendal Lawson: What a fox, eh? So, then after they had the two girls, I realized they couldn't stay on a barren lot, so I moved them into a little house: This is by grandpa-sims on Tumblr. He's done a variety of remodels of the houses from Veronaville. Here's the inside: Downstairs Upstairs And of course I cheated the kids up to kids, so here's the girls: Aurora Zexal And here's the happy little family in their new home I actually was going to put them in the twin house to the Grunts and I was in the middle of building it when my game crashed. It's still there - half decorated. By working with it though, it gave me an idea of what to do with the Grunts house when I get around to it. I apologize sincerely for the crappiness of the images. I don't have my normal image editing software - which was Paint Shop Pro 7 Anniversary Edition - but I lost it or something - so I'm going to be getting a new program this weekend. The other thing is that I've been working with various screenshots programs to try and figure out which will work the best, so I found a free copy of Fraps and I'm still trying to figure out how to work it properly. Baby steps at a time. But anyways, I'm going through my downloads folder and redoing everything because I don't want to have tons of CC just played so haphazardly like I did before. I'm going to be MUCH smarter this time around. Now, as far as my upcoming games coming up - I'm doing a merged neighborhood of Pleasantview/Strangetown - and I got a idea of how to make a bit of a story out of it with a character...a fairy tale actually. Yes, I said fairy...like this one :) The storyline is this. There's a fairy princess who's unsatisfied with her life and is wanting to more or less jump to GO! And be a full fledged fairy. She doesn't want to be another cookie cutter fairy from her realm. She tells her three best friends about her plain, which of course makes them uneasy about it, but they know they can't stop her because it's just who she is. She then goes and consults the elders, and they tell her that in order to accomplish her ultimate goal, she has to watch over this town for TWO GENERATIONS successfully without doing anything to disrupt their lives. So...what she'll do to keep an eye on each of the households, she'll have her own business - a variety shop of sorts - and so through some of the items - they'll be her eyes and ears more or less - I'm still working this part out actually, so it's going to start more or less with the upcoming generations in this town - Lilith, Dirk, Johnny, Ripp and all them - and go through their grandchildren pretty much. However...even when this is finished and she's completed her task as required...she's tricked! She's then transported to another town (which'll be a custom neighborhood) and is told she has to produce a family line for 8 generations - which is this challenge right here - and then her wish will be granted. :) Neat ideas huh? ^.^v Well, then, I've daudled enough around here. Time for me to get back to work. Updates soon!

| Ok, so...I'm still testing things out in game; however, moreover, I just bought a new graphics program - Paint Shop Pro X5 - and it is much more complicated than my old Paint Shop Pro program which is gone, and so I'm still figuring out things on it. I've figured out cropping and resizing, but not how to blend pictures like with gradient overlays like I did before, so for now, my pictures are a bit fuzzy and chippy until I can figure this out, but here's some gameplay between 2 test households I did, although let me start with some sims and a house. Ok, so I made my simself and a simself of another online friend named Prah over: My simself is available for download if anyone would like her :) Ok, so here's the twin house that's behind / beside the Grunt household made over: Well start with the downstairs area And now onto the upstairs: I'm so sorry; it's hard for me to remember to post over here and on my tumblr, although I know almost none of you probably go there, but I'll try to be better, I promise :D | |
