I wandered over here - I dont know how to post the videos - I tried I read the instructions and then the last few pages so I think I got it Sugah, I love Christmas and I love the Carpenters. Do you know listening to that video reminded me just how things have changed and I just dont know what else to say about that. Also I have never heard that BoyzIIMen song?! I like it. Elle, i agree, I really dig that Spiderman rendition... makes me want to jump around...heehee Anyway when I first paid attention to the lyrics of this song - like my eyes were opened- I totally connected. Okay my granddad used to love this song (among many others). He sang it all the time. He was like 6 foot and he did this lil jig when he sang. So funny! So anyway, i went looking for the song to try to share here and my 15 year old says "mommy that's my song!" Then he proceeded to sing it! So amazing...

Straighten up and fly right! Nat King Cole!!! I have that on one of my CDs of his. I am a fan of Nat King Cole's, so I am quite familiar with that song. Loved the little intro about your grandpa, too, Fee. (My Italian grandfather taught and played music and several instruments. I ADORED HIM!!! )

This song has been playing for about a month now on the radio station I listen to - and I still cry a little. It also makes me think of my 3 grown daughters out there making choices that will hurt later...
maybe they will also come to this conclusion one day.
