| Like I said in the post before, you realy uses Sim p a lot, did you do a total recall of the Pleasant family, or did you just make a new family and call them Pleasant? any way they don't look like in my quarters Angela and Dustin are married? and got a kid, and she is planning to join the marines? "never quit" Ha, ha thats a good one Toni Max Oh Why did not Ciara Peters tell him before, and why did she think she could race a kid by her self? and also why did she changes her mind? don't take me wrong I don't feel bad for the guy at all, and as a fader to my daughter and foster girls, I can understand why she acted like she did! but it had been all bettre if she had show up and told him... or maybe she did and he told her to go away? don't know, people can be quite heart less sometimes, well I hope he gets to be a good fader to the baby and that they somehow can fix up their life... an Child needs both her fader and mother, but in some cases it don't work... Well... This was like always good, pictures awesome, story perfect, and your sims looks great! | |

They're the original family from the game. I just gave Mary-Sue a little plastic surgery so she would look like she actually was the mother of the twins. In regards to Daniel's buff Body Builder shape, I use an amazing mod by Christianlov that allows you to change skintones of a simmie in game. I used this to give him and Don Lothario bigger bodies...I use Beosboxboy's Bodybuilder and Slim Bodybuilder skintones. Brandi Broke and Cassandra Goth Lothario both have more generous cleavage and Brandi also has wider hips, thanks to Warlokk's skintones that allow you to change the bust line and hips to create a variety of combinations. For now I left the twins pretty much the same, except that I made their lips a little bit fuller, and changed their eyebrows. But I plan when Lilith grows up to change her skintone to Beosboxboy's Athletic Girl (which is a bit more muscular) For Damien (Dirk Duval) I also made his lips fuller and wider, and gave him dark contact lenses, as I just didn't think the blue yes were very realistic! lol! I also use default skintones that make everyone - even the townies - look better! - soloaris wrote:

The way I imagine, is that she knew Max had a girlfriend and was just messing about with him on the side. They had stopped seeing each other by time she found out she was going to have the baby, and so thought she would try to raise the baby by herself. Once the reality of raising a baby set in though, and she began to remember her dreams of becoming an actress she sadly, like so many young woman, just got overwhelmed and decided she wasn't ready for motherhood. But Max's parents are both family Sims, so I think things are going to work out alright for baby Samantha.

| I am so so so far behind in your thread, Toni. Please forgive me if I do not respond as thoroughly as usual. There's just so much to look at, read and comment on! I love Marco & Carolyn's theatrical performance screenshots. What a neat idea & so cool!!! I think it speaks volumes of him for not wanting to win Carolyn over by default. I felt for him, when he was pining for the young beauty, but am thrilled he's met Solveig (aka "the one that shines", according to our Jackie). Love your Maxis hood Sims overhaul, esp. Jennifer Burb and Mary Sue Pleasant. I see Lothario (good dad or not) is still a lying, cheating wretch. Some things never change, huh? Helllllooo, Michael MD! Almost makes me wish I were a sick Sim. I liked your story about the Garcias, your fave Barbie doll inspired family from Sims 1. I think it's great that you have never let them go and continue to recreate them through the years. Teresa D'Angelo IS a stunner. Wow! I wish I was as skilled with SimPE as you are. I'd like to be able to do even half the things you achieve using that program. Have you ever thought about doing a tutorial to help others accomplish what you have? Just at thought... WOAH! Looks like Maximillian is in deep trouble. Welcome to the world Samantha! I look forward to hearing how all that turns out for Ciara and Max's young daughter. His very conservative parents handled the porch scene incredibly well, considering the shock. Thank you so much for sharing your fascinating Sim antics with us. Your screenshots are always so beautiful and your decorating and landscaping are superb, as always. I enjoyed it ALL, m'lady! | |

| Well you make a lot of changing and to the bettre, you are very good on this Toni, it makes me happy that you know so much about the game, but also a bit jealous because I want to be able to do that too. I use a default skin also that makes they looks bettre, and evry time some Towny walks by, I mark them, to be selectable, and take them to a mirror in my Sims house, and remake them with makeup, and stuff, give them new eyebrows, its realy hard work, but my Sim have a lot of Towny friends But I guess I have to read a lot of tutorials about all the fan made programs there are out there I had a lot of Warlocks body shapes, but was irritated they showed up in the clods section, and one had to browse them evry time I wanted clods to my girl Sims, so I actually put them away... Well, You are doing a great job, and its fun to watch your pictures and read your stories, so don't stop with them Toni! | |

| Well, now I'm feeling inspired to create a tutorial...at least on changing memories. I have no idea how to use simPe for most stuff that it was developed for. lol! But I have mastered the manipulation of the simmies themselves...changing their DNA, changing their memories and family ties etc.
It will take time to prepare because I want it to be understandable for people who're not familiar with the programme and I want to use lots of pictures to make it even easier. I'll see what I can do.

| Jackie and Sugah, I'm working this weekend, so I'll have to put off working on that tutorial until next week. But I did have some more photos uploaded to continue the Harbour Follies, so I thought I'd do a quick update in the meantime. --- Max's parents are decidedly upset about the discovery that their 18-year old, college-bound son has apparently fathered a child. While Mona quickly sorts out a crib for baby Samantha (having had six children, the Heden's garage and attic are filled with baby things), Thomas orders Max out of bed, and into the dining room for a serious talk about the future. "The first order of business of course will be a DNA test," his politician father Thomas says. "But son," he says seriously. "Is there a chance that this baby is yours?" "Yes," Max replies quietly. His mother, sitting to his left, exhales sharply. "Well, let's decide what we're going to do if this baby really is yours," she says matter-of-factly. They discuss options. The father is all for making Max forget about college and get a job to support his child. But Mona tries to reason with him. "If he finishes college he can provide a better future for her," she points out. "Samantha can live with us. Justin is seven now," she says, referring to their youngest. "He's at school full time, and I'm at home. It would be nice to have a baby in the house again," she said with a soft smile. A family sim, Mona is always hankering for another baby. "Well, let's sort out that DNA test before we make any decisions," Thomas said. "And you, young man," he said turning to the very quiet Max, "Really need to get your act together. Aside from the obvious implications for my future as a politician, you need to think about what you want from your life. Because if it's your intention to cut a swath through all the young women in this city, you can start thinking about making your own way in the world. I have no intention of assisting you in supporting a hedonistic lifestyle." Max, unable to defend himself, just nods earnestly, fighting to keep the tears from springing to his eyes. An hour later, after taking a look at the little pink baby in the crib in the study, he heads out the door to the private clinic, his father having been able to hastily arrange an appointment. All his can think about is his girlfriend Cassie. "How will I tell her?" That evening, instead of his usual Saturday carousing, he asks Kyle to come over and keep his company. Thanks to his Dad's string-pulling, he'll have the results of the paternity tests by Sunday night. Twenty-four hours later, with his heart in his throat, he goes over to Cassie's house to explain to her that he's fathered a child with another woman. It does not go well.... | |

| Why did Cassy get mad? did not Max do the baby before he met her, and did he have any knowledge about the baby? no... So why did she become angry, she looks like an angel face, could she not just hug him and tell him that was alright (I know it's the easy way, but also the most rare!) well, well maybe she will say that when she think about it a day or so, hope then it is not to late, I mean if Max will go and talk to the other girl... Oh... I realy like intrigues, and you my girl got a lot of them Write more reel soon Tony | |

We'll just have to wait and see what happens between Max and Cassie ;-) But let's check in quickly with Max... ---- Despite his wanderings he is devastated over his break up with Cassie...he spends his last couple of weeks before heading off to college bonding with Samantha And hanging with his friends who try to cheer him up. "In college, we'll meet a whole new set of people," they tell him.

| Thanks Jackie. I don't build a lot of lots from scratch. I just redecorate them to suit the look of the town and sometimes rearrange the walls a bit . I'm just so blown away by all the gorgeous custom content out there. My downloads folder is bursting at the seams! I'm not sure if there's a limit to how big it can be, but if there is, I'm thinking I must be reaching that point soon! Really appreciate all the positive feedback~ | |

I feel ya on that one girl. My downloads folder is busting too. I saw someone on BPS say their download folder was something like 3g of CC. So I am about halfway there...lol I think (hopefully) it depends on your computer's storage size (yeah I am not a tech geek)... I love the newest pictures and the story, keep it coming!!

| guys! Jen, about my DL folder....I've got *cough* 6.35 GB of stuff!!! Nearly 29,000 files. And yes....that's compressorized and foldered. It took forever, and I'm constantly resorting. I've gone through many pruning exercises over the years, but I'm a bit of a download addict. I have stuff that I've never used, but I MIGHT need it someday so..... I'm a mess! So, back to Christophe Harbour. .... In the last few days of summer vacation, we're going to peak on on what's happening around the Harbour. Lauren (Kyle's sister) and her friends Raishma and Bernadette have pretty much spent the whole summer at the shops on the boardwalk... In the Heden household, things settle in with the new addition, baby Samantha. Peter is now dating Teresa D'Angelo... Wil is teaching Justin how to play football... Though Justin actually prefers dancing Elisabeth is busy with her job at the local H&M store and spending time with her boyfriend Anil; she pretty much just comes home to grab a bite to eat and head out again... Alana spends most of her time with her best friend Maddie Stovic (Ophelia and Andre's little sister). Here they are: Future Christophe Harbour beauties | |

| Thanks Jackie! Wil (William) is a family sim. I think that's why he's so good with his little brother. Ready for another trip to Christophe Harbour? ........ Across town, the D'Angelo home is a beehive of activity as usual. Let's see if we can figure out who's who. There's Marco enjoying a little tunage while Teresa and Carla watch TV We know Vinnie (Marco's twin brother) already. Here he is playing catch with Francesco This is Francesco. He's just turned 13. This is the studious Tony The little ones: Sophia And Gabriela And Salvatore (the way Sophia is staring through the window in this shot is a little creepy. Eeep!) Their ages as this stage: Joey 18, Marco & Vincenzo (Vinnie) 17, Teresa 16, Tony 15, Carla 14, Francesco 13, Sophia 9, Gabriela 8 and Salvatore 6. This is mom Maria... And dad Carlo...see where the kids get their good looks? They were high school sweethearts. She's a family sim who keeps wanting to have babies, and he's a romance sim who... Oh! And we haven't checked in on Joey - Kyle's friend and the drummer from their band, the Rogues. He and his girlfriend Shoba (Raishma and Anil's older sister) spend their last day before heading to university at the run down movie theatre and arcade in the heart of downtown Christophe Harbour. This is my fourth incarnation of my neighbourhood in six years. For various reasons, I've been forced over time to reinstall my game and start my hood from scratch. There are some families I always recreate. the D'Angelos and the Harrelsons (Kyle's family). Then the Benoits (Cassie's family), the Stovics (Ophelia and Andre's family) and the Hedens (Max's family) who followed me from TS1...and the Garcias (Marc and Carolyn's family) that's loosely based on my first Barbie doll family that I began playing when I was a kid! For the big families like this, with kids born in game, when I want to make sure I get babies of the right gender, I save just at the point of child birth, and if I don't get what I want I exit and re-enter and keep trying until I get it right. Anyway, the D'Angelos though have a special place in my heart, as I created the parents in my first install of TS2 back in 2004, as a test family, to see if I could play the game without any cheats. The twins - my first - threw me for a loop, because Joey was still a baby and Maria and Carlo took turns passing out from exhaustion! lol! The farthest I've ever made it before I've had to reinstall is Max and his friends becoming adults, and having their first set of kids. Then boom! With the jump bug and my uninformed experimental manipulation, my game imploded. It was the early days of TS2, with very few patches and lots of conflicting mods. I've never gotten that far since. About a year and a bit later, I had another dose of corruption. Then some time after that...too many playables to keep up with, so I packed it in and started again, and then in January of this year...I got a new computer and decided to make a new start. I'm a better player and I'm vigilant about what mods I put in my game. Fingers crossed, because... Tomorrow the first generation of Harbour teens heads off to University: Kyle, Max, Marc, Joey, Shoba, Ophelia, Maxine, Stara (Marc's cousin), Lilith and Damien Duval (Dirk Dreamer)...and a coupla townie teens. And look at who they're going to get to meet?! | |

| Thanks Jackie! Sim-Toni is a university student too. I have future plans for her and Andre (Ophelia's brother), even though she's a couple of years older than him. I kind of like that! lol! But more about them later ;-) Back to Christophe Harbour, Fiesta Tech Edition: .... The boys had gone up to Fiesta Tech in the summer and found a furnished (badly) house that the four of them will share. The Saturday before classes start, Kyle and Marc head out early in the morning for the three hour drive to the University. The unpack all their stuff from the car, and dump them in front the steps, then drop to the ground to hang out until Max and Joey arrive. Max has registered music as his major, Joey is studying sociology, Marc is pre-med and Kyle is doing graphic design. The guys spend the rest of the day and all day Sunday unpacking. Here're some random shots of the boys in their new home. Max has the most cooking points, so that's his job Sunday afternoon they go exploring the desert city, and get lost... But they find a grungy pub on the outskirts of town that serves great food. They find their way back home and spend the night before their first day of classes relaxing at home and watching the football game on TV. The night after that... Oh yeah....it's going to be an interesting time at university! | |
