Exactly sweetie. I know what you mean, most of the stuff in my simmies homes if purley for deco purposes too. I am experimenting more and more with them though.... Ari wrote: - Quote :

| Thank you both Uli and Lady S, I appreciate your very gracious and sweet comments ladies... It is amazing how much better things look with an awesome graphics card, I never noticed all of the detail before... Lady S wrote: - Quote :

I got them from the now closed Sims Design Avenue. I almost deleted them as the poly count is very high but I love them too much to get rid of them. I am not sure what happened to their site but they had some very, very lovely stuff. I just happened to snag all of the art deco sets one day and I am so glad that I did. Thank you so much Sugah for your awesome support and lovely compliments my friend... I got so frustrated with that window seat and thought, hump, I will just do it my own way... Gotta love a stubborn Irish/Scottish woman for sure

Love the patterned wallpaper and the drapes and wall hanging above the tub. Mmmmmm....I'd never get out of the bath! And the private toilet area! What a great idea! Absolutely fabulous! Also love the entrance to the house with the pretty awnings. Just lovely. What's that photo effect you use to get the glint of light like that? Pwitty!

| Jen - I can't even freaking comment. I'm immensely jealous of your decorating sense for our Simmies homes. You have an amazing talent Girl. There is nothing you've posted since I've last been here that I don't LOVE. Your ability to make every single room and home you touch - Architectural Digest and Better Homes & Gardens worthy - amazes me. I love that you share all of these with us. You truly inspire perfection in our Simmies homes. | |

| Toni & Hunter, Oh gosh, Thank you both so much for the most gracious compliments I am really enjoying this house...I have been working on it a little each night for the past 3-4 days and I am still not done... I have really enjoyed the tiny homes but wanted to build a bigger one this time. It all started with that window seat :)) I have to finally say, My name is Jen and I am a clutter a holic and I must stop and go to sleep now...hehehehe I do love that bathroom too, I wish my real life one was that big.It has been a lot of trial and error on this house and I still have to test play it I would also kill for a closet like that too... I use fraps to capture my screenshots then I use GIMP to edit them. The light effect is called radiant glare and I use a softglow effect on it too.... | |

| I would absolutely LOVE to have those walls & art nouveau furniture. Do you know if Sims Design Avenue created their own meshes? I wonder if their downloads are available at the Graveyard now... Probably should check, huh? How absolutely stunning the bathroom, kitchen and front landscaping all are ... VERY impressive curb appeal! Love the hanging garlic, chili peppers, kitchen tile, & that pretty bed/bedding. Niiiiice! Toni's right. That stone arch into the kitchen is awesome. That dream closet is to die for, dahling. Your sense of style and color are SIMply sensational, m'lady. I'm so envious of the ability you and Toni have to put a room together so brilliantly. I really am. | |

| Astral@ thanks my Lady, but I already have playing with that emulator there is a lot of old games that is still good, but they feel somehow "old" this days :dancinkitty1: But thanks for thinking at me Toni@ Its from Dungeon Siege in a Fan made "Siegelet" you have to find out that you need a big hat, if not, you can penetrate the secret barrier ... and go on with the game, but its a good hat to, it gives you 50 defense points when you where it ... Sugah@ Hunter@ Thank you both girls, if you want you can download the new community lot at Basic Soon I will post some new pictures on the famous Toddler | |

| Many apologies for the late reply Sugah, I thought I had posted here Obv my brain has melted a bit, oh well better late than never right? First off here are in game pictures of the Davis family for you: First off meet Carol: She is a neat family sim. And her Husband Kenny: He is a playful pleasure sim, he owns a bakery due to his love of food. Jackie is kenny's daughter from his first marriage: Jackie is a playful and charismatic artist. She also happens to be a family sim. Now we have her Hubby Mayer: Mayer is active and very nice. We also have their kids: India: India is a Nice, playful sim who hopes to own a bakery like her granddad and spends many weekends perfecting her recipes. Sasha: Sasha is a neat, playful girl and a big fan of football, she hope to go proffesinal one day. and last but not least we have rose: Rose is a playful and energetic sim who loves hanging out with her friends. Sadly my game crashed not long ago and I'm not 100% sure if these sims will have survived, i'll have to go in game and see :praying1: If not this will be the last you will see of them - Quote :
- Which paint program do you use?
I have a few I mess about with a few I have paint shop pro 7 and coral painter as well, I also use paint.net - what I started out with and is free! I could certainly use a book for dummies myself Sugah! Thank you for your wounderful comment Sugah. I also mentioned in this thread about similar gadrens to my first post but forgot to post them here so here they are!: I apologise for the picture quality, my computer didn't like me this day ^This was supposed to be the garden to a childrens care center. I hope you all like my update and I will try to pop by again soon!

I hope the family survived the crash. Would love to see how their lives turn out.

| No apologies are necessary, dear lady. I know you've been feeling very poorly of late. I truly hope you are back to feeling more like yourself this week. I love Mayer and Kenny's hair. They wear that style well. India is darling. I love that expression on her face and cute pose. I hope all those Sims can be retrieved. We all know what it's like to lose beloved virtual peeps, when our game/puter goes kaflooey! - Quote :

Does it make me an even BIGGER dummy, if I have the PSP 7 for Dummies book and have hardly ever looked at it, Claire? If you know how to make some of those awesome sigs I always seeing over at Inspiring Sims using PSP 7, I'd love to learn how. Whoever makes the siggys/avvys for your site needs to do a tutorial for the rest of us. I really liked your childrens' care center garden. Pretty! The clutter all looks so cool there. I like the painter's garden and the garden with the clothesline & clutter, too. You did a fine job on ALL of those and I thank you so much for sharing with us.

| Oh wow, first off thank you all so much for stopping by and commenting on my little album Ullwera, thank you I'm glad you enjoyed looking at my gardens - I need some way to feed my clutter addiction I'm glad you like the hoover in my painters garden, I was unsure if it worked but as with that garden you could see into the house I felt something was needed there and a hoover was the first thing that came to mind Thank you ilikefishfood (Interesting username - I like it!) I only meant to do one little clutter garden, but I enjoyed it so much I ended up doing six! There all the same size and I just did a different theme for each - Child care center, painters, writers, flowers, gardeners, pets. Thank you dear Sugah, I'm feeling much better thanks to your well wishes hun, though my room is still filled with tissues Mayers/kennys hair is one of my all time greats for male hair there is not enough about that I like so I use it a lot! - Quote :

:muahaha: You really should hun, it will help a lot, me I just start but going into the programme and pressing all the buttons to see what they do. I believe White Lily makes most of the avas and sigs, I know Bdh can do them as well though. I have dabbled myself but I'm not anywhere near as good sadly. I suggest you pm either Lily or Bdh I'm sure they would be happy to help you dear. I'm so glad you have enjoyed my update Sugah hun. Also to let everyone know I cannot find the davis family in game You never know they maybe in my back up folder but I have a horrible feeling they aren't. If so I may be posting a new family to share with you all Hopefully I will be on again tomorrow to update this album ;)

| So did the family survive the crash?! :praying1: As to my 'name'....years ago, struggling to find a name that wasn't already taken when registering at some online forum, and a song from (of all things) an old TV show called the Electric Company (a psychedelic Sesame Street) popped into my head. It started like this: "I like fish food, you do too. Don't look now your hair is blue...." etc. etc. It stuck! | |

Thank you for the explaination ilikefishfood, I think your username is wonderful! Short update for you all, I have created some paintings to share with you all here, so I have a picture, just waiting for the lovely sugah's approval as I suck at picture taking! | What a neat looking house! I like the original design. Your pictures are lovely, too, particularly the top left one. I am very sorry to hear about your lost family. That doesn't make sense that you can use the game to create, build, and take screen shots, but it crashes when you play. I don't think I've ever heard of that before. There has to be a reason why.

| From my fallout collection...by Soloaris... War..war never changes... The end of the world occurred pretty much as we had predicted... Too many humans, not enough space or resources to go around... the details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always, purely human ones...
In 2077, the earth was nearly wiped clean of human life... a great cleansing, an atomic spark struck by human hands, quickly raged out of control... Spears of nuclear fire rained from the skies... continents were swallowed in flames and fell beneath the boiling oceans... Humanity was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the background radiation that blanketed the earth...
A quiet darkness fell across the planet, lasting many years... few survived the devastation... Some had been fortunate enough to reach safety, taking shelter in great underground vaults...
When the great darkness passed, these vaults opened, your family was part of the group that entered one of the vault's... Imprisoned safely behind the large vault door, under a mountain of stone, a generation has lived without knowledge of the outside world..
Life in the vault is about to change...
"War never Changes monologue from Fallout" A big thanks to VPN (Cars), Pixelhate (Walls and Floors), Guatla (wonderful Meshes) Sweetswami77 (Terrain paint and other broken stuff) Sugah (beautiful walls, floors and shiny objects) and all the other creators that have done all the colors and the Shiny Objects so this " Fallout Collection" could be build... Full CC is always in the Rar File!Road to Nowhere! This Tax authorities building, was sharply destroyed in the nuclear blast, but the survivors have learned to adapt their daily lives to what they have Even if this is a ruin, there is a kitchen... ... a room for reading and meet your friends... ... and a workshop for making robots, repair guns or tools ... ... a bed room! When the flood come after the blast, it took all kind of lose objects with it, here is a car that was stuck between the concrete walls ... On the backside of the ruined building, one can grow ones own vegetables!:dancinkitty1: Forgotten Mall! This is a former shopping center... Your sims can do a lot of things here, among them; shop and have a coffee brake, but also be amazed of the devastation and what ones was real, people lived here before the atomic war, they are all gone now, but you are here... The old prewar computers work, and if you have a friend you can check your mail... or read the news letters from the Brotherhood of steel... In the coffee shop, you can sit down and rest your old legs, talk to a friendly Ghoul or an other Sim... Hope you and your Sim have fun here... Deserted House! It looks kind of sad this deserted house, but it is a community lot, and Sim's don't need so much things for have fun, but here is a normal house that have been deserted under or after the war, people started to sleep over and meet here, now it is a place for people to be together, and (sim) socialize... Detail view window ... Hope your Sim's have fun here and that they don't get attacked by Raiders... Junktown Dine Welcome to Junk Town Dine! This is a fully functional restaurant, with tables, kitchen and toilets on the backside... Here yours survived Sim can relax and meet other people, and eat, talk about the last events with the Brotherhood of steel, changes stuff and make the life a bit better... Or Maybe sit in quiet and listen to the rippling water from a broken toilet chair ... Why not relax in the comfortable chair's and look at the wash machine sorry to say, they always send the same program, but one survivor can not be picky with what they show from the appliance company ... Fallout houseThis is a 3 room and Bathroom Villa ... with possibility to build out In the house, there is a kitchen a bed room and a bath room, there is also a driveway (for parking Cars)... On the second floor, ones have space for outside activities, here Sani looks if there is any neighbors, that have survived the big cleansing... (Atomic war) There is also a big room ones can have like a laboratory, or just an hobby room, one can even have a sofa and a tv, and look at the static light... Sani and Miranda talking about all the crimes that have increased, now when the local police and army has been disbanded... Well, hope you can have fun playing a Fallout house! Junk Town!Hope you will have fun here in Junk town Dirty Pig Bar!The bar is usually courted with Sim's, trying to find a friend or a Gamma Gulp beer ... The dirty pig it is always full of people, that have fun hope you enjoy it too! All this Lot's can be downloaded on BasicforSims! Link Thanks for watching!

| OMG JACKIE!!! This is fantastic! All of it - so wonderfully creative and what an awesome presentation you gave us. I really felt like I was there, among the last of humanity. What storytellers couldn't do with these lots - the idea that everyone has to defend themselves since there are no police to help. I love the Gamma Gulp beer, the rippling water from the broken toilet chair, and the Brotherhood of Steel - so clever and fun! I love the broken down rusted cars everywhere - especially the one crashed into the house! It really sets the mood. Awesome job, sir! | |
