| Here's Tim (the distinguished Salt and Pepper hair and beard version) in front of his house Palm Cottage from MTS2. He's Sagittarius (DNA 42954) Fortune with a LTW of 100000 Simoleans. His likes are Black Hair and Red Hair and he dislikes Stink. His hobby is Arts and Crafts. I have an I T Career (geeky guys and gorgeous girls ) in mind for him. | |

| Tim, I've downloaded SimTim Brown for my Isle of Demeter game. It will probably be quite a while before you see him do anything, though, because I'm currently playing Sugah's Pleasantview for the Offspring Project. Thank you for sharing your Simself. Mac, I have Palm Cottage in Isle of Demeter. Thanks for showing us a picture of the distinguished and very enthusiastic Tim in your game. | |

| Tim, how exciting that you are playing again! I am sorry you were having so much trouble with your game. Have you tried sifting through the downloads folder to see if it might be a bad download or two? Can't wait to see Harry & Hermoine and their family! And it's so neat seeing your Simself! The salt and pepper version looks so distinguished. I think I mentioned in my most recent PM to you that Elle is in charge of the Sidekick Chronicles, where our little forum family's SimSelves & their information can be found. So, contact her through PM and she will see to it that your Simself and info is added to that section! That's the current procedure to join the SP Sidekick's clan! Here is an example of the information we like to provide with our Simselves: Name: Sugah Astrological Sign: Cancer Personality Points: Neat - 6, Outgoing - 6, Active - 5, Playful - 5, Nice - 5 (I'm hoping those stats make me a Cancer in game?!?) Aspiration: Family Secondary Aspiration: Knowledge Turn ons: Employed & Dark Hair (you pick - brown or black) Turn off: Unemployed Preferred Occupation: Paranormal (that one sounds like fun!), Education, Gamer or Intelligence (you pick!) Preferred Hobby: Film and Literature Gender Preference: Male (preferably human) Clothing Style: Casual & Comfy As per Sugalicious: "I like aqua, coral, orange-red, cinnamon & caramel on me best ... nothing too dressy or fancy and I can't wear heals in real life ... horrible ankles! I don't wear navy, gray, burgundy, pink or any other summer/winter shades. I am a definite "spring" through and through". Of course, you don't have to provide quite THAT much information. Something like this would suffice: Name: Russ Astrological Sign: Pisces with quite a few Aquarian traits Aspiration: Fortune (secondary for those who have FT - Knowledge) Turn Ons: Fitness/Logical Turn Off: Stink Preferred Occupation: Adventurer, Natural Science Preferred Hobby: Music and Dance/Tinkering Gender Preference: Female Clothing Style: Casual (have been a jeans man all my life, but I do own a suit or two) Just copy and paste and fill in your own information. Send it and your salt & pepper Simself (like him best) file link to Elle through the PM. Hope that helps! | |

Gender Preference: Female Clothing Style: Casual & Comfy I'm typically a blue color kind of person...black is okay but not all black...don't care for hot/warm colors | |

| I am so glad you are getting back into your game and ever so excited that you are interested in joining our SP chronicles. When you are ready, just PM me a link to your simself and I'll take it from there. Since your stats are already here, I won't need you to send them. Looking forward to seeing what you do, Timster. | |

| Somehow I missed this new developement here until I saw Mac's Tim in-game! I asked about the grey hair and beard not realizing it was our Tim I might recommend we send Elle a picture of our Self-Sims so she can add it next to our download in the thread. That way people won't be downloading "blind" so to speak? | |

I see great minds think alike, Sandy. I'm already working on this. After I added your sim and Cher's I revamped the section and bit and I'm working on images. They should be posted by the month's end. I can't tell you'll how glad I am that so much interest has been sparked in the SP Chronicles! Timster, I am so sorry that your thread got dragged into a discussion which really belongs here. Let's move any more discussion on challenges to that thread and go back to praising Tim's genius here.

| Thank you guys! Sound is easy enough...the MB has built in, maybe not the best, but it works! lol I'll have to wait til the start of the month for the player though...The dvd players were the last components we had left from our systems we bought in spring of 2003...Good run as far as I am concerned. | |

| Tim, I hope you get the DVD player fixed and everything back up and running quickly. I'd say you did have a good run with it, but it's so frustrating when things start to go bad, one after the other. | |

| YARGH!!!! Okay, I was tired of moving files in and out of downloads so I removed the download folder completely, ran the game, crashes trying to go in that misc decorations folder. *sigh* Then I am like, oh no...that means my hoods are somehow messed up! So I delete the hood folder after putting the downloads back in (yes I have a back up of it.) Crashes going into that folder...*face palm* *head to desk* *head to desk* *head to desk* *head to desk* Then I think of the wooden simolean website Toni linked so I went there and tried deleting removing some of the files they recommend and nothing is bringing me joy. One positive thing I did find out...if you have custom content turned on, and have default faces then create a new neighborhoods folder by running the game...it uses the new values from the default faces 'mod' to build all the base/expansion games beginning Sims. So now I am torn between keeping my old hood with a lot of the 'ugly' Maxis created Sims and starting over with 'prettier' sims. Let's face it, the Caliente sisters...not that cute and Lothario needs a remake too! lol So to accomplish that, I would have to pack out all my families, and then import them into the new hood...not sure I am up for that or not...plus all the relationships outside of the Sims inside each out will be lost...not a big deal, but I've done this once before and it wasn't fun...plus I still haven't found out what is causing the crash. What do I do?!?!? edit #1 Okay, find out what was causing the problem...CEP...*sigh* restored my hood, put all the downloads and stuff back and deleted all the stuff for CEP and it worked just fine. Course my recolors don't work...Got to figure out what is going on with CEP... edit #2 Well I found a really old copy of CEP in my archives and I installed it and ran the game, seems to work okay, only 2 things are not being covered by it, so that is good I guess. lol Maybe tomorrow I can get back in the game and play. | |

| Well, I opted to package my lots I like the most out, deleted the hood that was in game (got a back up anyway) and put the new hood back in then went through the process of add a lot, run game and place it, exit and repeat...Finally finished today... I messed with one house hold, mainly cause it had a ton of sims on it, so I wouldn't lose their relationships...about 32 Sims in all...talk about a nightmare! But I got the household broke down finally, except for one branch of the family...the 2 adults are 'stuck'...they stand there and start rotating around and around...(throwing and error and the game resets them). The error they are throwing is 'Hit Breakpoint Primitive'...No clue as to what that is...So for now they are stuck with their relatives until I can find a way to really reset them so I can move them out. I might need to go hit Aaron up on FB and see if he has any ingenious ideas! But I am closer to getting to play again! | |

| I'm happy to hear you're getting closer to being able to play. I just started playing again, too. I've never heard of that error. Hopefully there's an easy way to fix it. | |

| Thank you Cher! Well Aaron had some advice for me. He was able to go through the error log that Angela (I think) produced and said it looks like something is trying to change the skin of the Sim and then the game resets the Sim...sadly as far as I know I do not have any mod that can do that. Anyone know of any or all of the mods that do that? Google looks at me and says "I got no shinies boss" so I am at a loss. I've thought too maybe I will use SimPE to try changing their skintones and see if that fixes it... edit: Well thank you to Aaron! His smarts helped me get my two Sims working again. Since I couldn't find any mod that changes a Sim's skin in game (and thereby not be able to search my mods to see if I somehow got one), I opened SimPE and loaded by Angela and Lilth and noted that neither one of them had a dominate skin tone listed. So I inserted the number of one for both of them and now they are working again! Woohoo!! That said, I won't get to do anything until Wednesday now most likely And I think I will work on the Sugah Babies and sometime after they get to adult status (maybe married, moved out with a few kids if it works that way) I am going to end playing the Sims for a while. I've spent waaaaay too much time messing with the Sims lately. lol | |

| Wow! Your patience, diligence and the help you received from Aaron (yaaay, Aaron! ) has finally paid off. You really stuck with trying to find out what was causing all your game issues. Way to go, Tim! I am glad you're up and running and finally able to play again. Welcome back to the wonderful world of Sims 2! | |
