| Great updates. I love Madeleine's new hairstyle. It really looks good on her and John Paul looks like a good match for her. It's funny, when I read your previous post, I thought an older, elder, man might be good for her. Maybe it was your comment about having such a big age difference if she settled in with a younger guy. I like that John Paul is athletic, so he seems like a young, active man, even though he's an elder. It makes their age difference seem not so big. I love this pic of yours . . . That alone makes me want to go out and get BV. That is gorgeous! - Quote :

| I agree with Em - that shot really stands out for it's beauty. Very nice photography! The surface of the water is like ripped glass - so pretty to look at. I'm pretty sure mine doesn't look that good, lol.
It's nice to see lovely Madeleine happy and in love. She looks like she's enjoying life and now has a special someone to share it with.

| Isn't Bon Voyage the most fun, Sugah? I LOVE IT! Your couple is truly adorable and I hope they do get to go on that trip together. Is it me, or does anyone think that Madeleine (after make over) looks a bit like Joyce DeWitt (Three's Company)? She's adorable Sugah! Your screen shots are so much fun to look at. And I'm with you Sista - that never looks like break dancing to me either. | |

Funny you should say that. I happen to have my music playlist beside me on the desk. Both John Paul and Madeleine's last names are borrowed (Michael Bublé and Chris Daughtry). I was too lazy to think beyond that this time. - Elle wrote:

Thank you! I, too, think they make a lovely pair. I love it when things just fall into place between Sims, like they were meant to be. It's interesting you should think "older man" for Madeleine, too, Em. It just came to me, like when I feel a couple is meant to be childless or a Sim is meant to be gay. Sometimes a certain situation just FEELS RIGHT in the game, doesn't it? Thank you for the compliments on Madeleine's T.I. Beach Hotel balcony view, Ari and Em. I couldn't believe it when I saw it myself and can not WAIT to have my Sims live on the beach. **BTW, is there a special, certain way to purchase beachfront property? I do not have a Prima Guide for Bon Voyage, unfortunately.** - Hunter wrote:

Once you said it, I could actually see it, Hunter. Geez. When was the last time I saw or thought of her? Thank you, again, for ALL of the wonderful, fun comments. I always am so grateful when you take the time to do so.

| Sorry to double post. Here's what I was talking about above: Madeleine and John Paul are now engaged and have moved in together. I wanted them to purchase a house on the beach, but all they could do was buy a vacation home. The property they purchased doesn't seem to be an active beach lot. You know, no ocean movement or anything. It's on Twikkii Island, where the resorts are. **Is there a special, certain way to purchase beachfront property? I'd like it to work properly (like at the hotels), but do not know how.*** Thank you, in advance! | |

Yes, when you go in to buy lots - you'll see a new option for specialty lots - beachfront. It's that easy. - Sugah wrote:

I know - I hadn't thought of her in awhile either - but when I saw the after pic - Joyce popped right into my head. Thank You for sharing such fun game play with us all! My goodness. You mean in neighborhood mode? I must've completely overlooked that and will check again tonight. Thank you so much! "It's just that easy!" WOOHOO!!! I'm assuming I can build a beachfront lot in Belladonna Cove where these two lovebirds reside? - Quote :

I'm lovin' this couple. They're so dear together. Even last night, while playing, I never have to instruct them to seek one another out and bestow affection on eachother. They naturally continue to do so. I'm tellin' ya ... A match made in Sim heaven!

| Thank you! I'm hoping to load up my game in a bit. I just downloaded and printed out the 'preview' version of Prima Guide's Bon Voyage. It has lots of helpful information on it. If I can find the actual guide at Half Price Books, I'll r eally be in the know! | |

| Thank you mucho, Ms. Faery. As promised, I'm sharing some pics of the Ari's lovely Nikki ( Miss July), who I am already enjoying in my game. She is my very first Sim to own TRUE beach front property!!! Woohoo! So excited! She lives right next door to Adaeze ( Miss Nigeria), who I have already grown very fond of, too. *** Meet Nikki Nolan, a Libra and Pleasure Sim, who aspires to be in the Entertainment industry one day. She currently loves building sand castles and gazing out at her gorgeous ocean view. I see Nikki as a quirky, fun, stylish, outgoing gal with a happy, contented heart. Next up: Build her a quaint, little beach house, so she's not just a homeless chick on a great seaside lot.

| Aww. I am so flattered you chose my Nikki to live on your first beachfront property! I'm happy you like her. Beautiful shots - you're rocking some kind of graphics card there, Lady! And the swimsuit is so cute! Thanks for sharing. It's awesome to see one of my babies in someone's game. | |

Thank you, m'lady! I do so love it when things all fall into place, like they are meant to be. Ari, Nikki LOVES the beach. Everytime I turn around, she's out building a sand castle. I think she'll have full creativity points in no time! About the swimsuit... I am actually thinking of opening my fashion section with several recolors of that teeny, tiny bikini. Here is Nikki's roomy, wearing a recolor of that same swimsuit. Danica is a Leo and a Popularity Sim who aspires to be Mayor of Star Valley Shores one day. I love it that Sims can build sand castles together. That is SO COOL! I hope to fire up the game later today. Will let you know how the lovely roommates are doing.

| Thank you, Elleluv. I've pretty much made up my mind to start the fashion department off with a line of two different kinds of bikinis. This is one of the meshes. The other swimsuit I'll be recoloring you will find on Celia and Coral. I can't tell you how tickled I am to have Sims actually play on the beach...sunbathe...swim in the ocean...build sand castles and collect seashells. I'm just so thrilled to be able to even LOOK at the waves! Your feedback is always appreciated, my friend. | |

| Coral gets a swimsuit, too? YAY!! I'm loving them so far! You know, I've had BV for awhile now, and I've never even noticed sims could build sandcastles together. It's awesome that you're playing Nikki in your game. What a treat to see her having fun on the beach with her roomy. Thanks, doll. | |

Oh, duh! I didn't say that very well, Ms. Faery. I'm sorry. I meant for Elle to refer to my Celia and your Coral for the other type of swimsuit I intend on recoloring, in addition to the style Danica and Nikki are wearing. I just downloaded Coral into my new game, btw. I'm starting from scratch, you may've heard, and I absolutely love, love, love her! I hope to load up my game in a bit for more Sims fun in the sun. Thank you for your comments, as always. Added today, August 2, 6:55pm:I haven't been able to get focused on playing my beach beauties, since I am having to build & decorate a little beach house for them. Because I have pretty much NO downloads in this game, I am having to start over - from scratch - with my newly installed game. Anyhoo, while I was focused on something else, Nikki decided to do some sunbathing. --- UH OH! Can you say OUCH??? I'm thinking with your fair skin, you oughta bump up the spf to about 50, little lady! This was another first for me to see. None of my Sims have ever been effected by the weather, since I don't have Seasons. Way cool! Nikki absolutely loves building sand castles. I've learned she is an Arts & Crafts fanatic, which is going to work out perfectly since she is the creative type. I'm hoping to play more tonight, if the evening goes as planned.

That's so awesome! It thrills me to death when someone likes playing one of my sims. LOL - poor Nikki! That looks painful. I am so glad you're enjoying actually playing the game. Well, now you're busy building again, lol. But you're sort of playing. And that's great.

| Fear not, m'lady! Nikki's recovery was super quick (and hopefully, painless) from that nasty sunburn. Hopefully, she'll switch to a higher spf factor next time she sunbathes. lol Speaking of the lovely Nikki... Have you ever seen a prettier mime? She has since been promoted to Ventriloquist. I love it that our Sims can sit on the beach at night, watch the waves roll in and out and schmooze about aquatic life. Danica was originally a Music Sim but I changed her fave hobby to Science, since she seemed attracted to the telescope. She's beautiful and brainy and a City Council Woman. Nikki is the super creative one, destined to be a huge success in the Entertainment field. I hope to have some pics of their little beach house as soon as I'm done creating a bit more art for it. | |
