| Thanks for all your comments! I love reading them! Smillan and Goriam had a little baby girl, I'll post photos later (I'm on the wrong computer now). I think they will only have one child. I wish there was a mod so that every first born child in a family is a girl. I hate it when I decide they will only have one child and then they get a boy. If I could decide, all babies would be girls :P | |

| I like your sims Cajsa! She did grow up well Smillan, she likes food I don´t think I could get my hubby do a selfsim of me, he hardly can start his PC without help. He did get my old PC when I bought me a new one Your self sims did look very nice hope to see more of them. Why do you only want girl babies? | |

Mine too. I don't think he even knows what I sim is, believe it or not. - Quote :

Then who would they make more babies with when they grew up? I like to have an even mix, personally. Besides baby boys are fun!

| I've never thought about whether I like girl Sims or boy Sims better, ladies. Interesting subject! I CAN tell you that for certain Sim pairs, I can feel what they SHOULD have. You know, I get a sense of it, like whether a certain Sim of mine is gay or not. It just FEELS right ... a particular way in my mind to play it out. In other words, a daughter feels right for one couple, but another Sim pair seem more suited for a son. I'm the same way when creating a Sim and choosing his/her astrological sign. After I'm finished creating the Sim, it doesn't take me long (upon looking at him/her) before their sign just pops into my head. | |

I can see that . . . In my game though, I probably wouldn't reload after a birth to get a different gender, so chances are my couples might not get the gender I imagined for them. But that's kind of how real life is, people don't always the gender they want most. I kind of adapt the way I think about the couple or the family if they get the opposite of what I expected for them. I'm the type that likes randomness in my game, so I kind of like the unexpected twists.

| Here are a couple of paintings I've done for Lavender Cottage. I have done a few others as well and should probably do more. Will need to start working on the CC recolors tomorrow. What do you think of these, so far? | |

| Maybe I wouldn't want them ALL to be girls. But I think it's more fun to see how the girls grow up and change from cute little baby girls into beautiful women. The boys don't have so many different hairs and clothes to play with. If they only got girls, I would create adult men for them to marry. I also like the realistic randomness. But every family should have at least one girl that I can follow and continue to play with. | |

| Even though I prefer girls, it is sort of an unwritten rule with me that I never reload after something doesn't go my way (i.e pregnancy, unexpected death, random job disaster, etc.). I kind of deal with all as it comes and use the game's already abundant resources to tweak things in my favor; there are usually mods to help out also. In the end, though, some things are not meant for me to change. If I did I would end up with a world of girls who all followed the slacker/moviestar career, and were all somehow born rich ! | |

That's very true. I've been wanting to make over a bunch of my sims, but I'm finding there's not a lot I can do with the guys. There aren't enough nice, masculine hairstyles for sim guys. - Quote :

I play by that unwritten rule too, Elle. It has to be a pretty major disaster, like a death or kids being taken away by the social worker, for me to even consider exiting without saving and even then I might go with it.

It's the same for me. I never even thought of reloading to try and get the gender I want on a baby. Though when my favourite sim Bondbruden died pregnant because of a misstake by me, I reloaded.

| I played "us" a bit yesterday. They got married. A friend played violin just like at our wedding. We don't have any children yet, but they got twins. Two girls. I made them grew quick so I could see how our children might look :P I really hope we get nicer kids than that At least they look a bit better as teens. ----- And Like I wrote earlier Smillan got a baby girl. And Knyttis is expecting her eight child. Tefosi (the boy) doesn't seem too happy about it... These two brothers (and the rest of their brothers) look very much alike. | |

| Here's a sneak peek of the living room set I've done for Lavender Cottage. I'm going to have to package up, then download this little abode to test it in my own game, before I release it. Want to make sure everything works and is easy to navigate through. Lavender Cottage Living | |

You are too funny! As usual I enjoyed the look into your sims world. They are all beautiful, especially the two boys at the end. Those eyes are fierce; I love them. Thank you for keeping us posted on your sim families.

| I know what you mean, Cajsa. Some Sim toddlers/kids are downright scary! The teen female Sim in the green turned out better than her sis, to my eyes. She shows quite a bit of promise, I think. I thought it was neat that a friend started playing the violin at the wedding. Tres romantique! I agree with Elle. The two boys in your bottom post are SIMply beautiful...gorgeous eyes! BTW, I didn't mean to insinuate that I get it in my mind what sex each couple is going to have, then make sure it happens. I can imagine certain couples with either a male or female child, but I rarely exit without saving if the opposite of what I'm picturing in my mind's eye doesn't occur. Wait a sec...did that make even one iota of sense? In other words, 9 out of 10 times, when a baby is born to my Sims, what will be, will be, regardless of what I'm hoping for them. Sheesh. I need to go watch a movie or something. | |

| I see what you mean Sugah :) Like in real life. Some families are typical boy/girlfamilies and some are typical one boy and one girl family, but it doesn't allways become like that anyway. It's so wierd though, Knyttis and Flimpgrabben have seven children and only two of them are girls. The first time I played sims 2, some years ago, I played a couple and they had one kid and she grew up and married and lived in the same house and the parents died (of age) and she got one kid and so on. So I allways had the same house and each kid had only one kid so they could stay in that house. I got to five generations and ALL of the kids were girls, no cheating. Though the fifth generation had five kids and they were both girls and boys. - Sugah wrote:

Well... I kind of made her play it... (by making her selectable).
