| Ruby is lovely. I love playing small houses, it just seems more challenging...not to mention they run so much better on my antiquated machine....lol. Anyway, I can't wait to see how her new loft turns out!
Loving the previews too. Those rockers are so cute!

Thank you, Dee. I very rarely, if ever, download and/or play large estates or mansions. Aside from the fact that they seem like wasted space to me, I like navigating around well-built small abodes better. Charming cottages and beach bungalows are my fave ... especially if they are positioned on the coast! It's not that I don't admire how incredible some of the estate properties can look, I just don't see the point in the enormous size of them, to be honest. :giggling2: What's going on in your game these days? Care to start your own thread, m'lady?

| A friend of mine put together a house for me. Basically what was was, a box. A blank slate for me to work with. I actually enjoyed it. What I'm going to do is, make this in two parts so there isn't one post with a lot of pictures. This is the back of the house. The upstairs The downstairs

| Part Two The bedroom Kitchen/Diningroom Another view The idea for this came from one object. Someone sweeter than sugar sent me a Private Message directing me to a certain place. To my surprize I found this picture: |

| Okay, wait a freakin' minute here! Are you telling me that box in part one of your post somehow became all the gorgeous rooms I saw in part two??? That is sensational, Ed! I LOVE what you've done with the place. That bedding and wall art above the bed are to die for, dahling. Love the colors! You have GOT to post a couple of screenshots (in part three) of what the exterior NOW looks like, since you have renovated "the box". - Quote :

I told you ... anyone who REALLY knows me wouldn't choose the word "sweet" to describe me, but hey! Who am I to argue with an Aries? :giggling: Seriously, thank you, Ed.

| I do have pictures of the outside. I'm not really done with it yet. Still a few morethings I want to do. But, I'll show what I have now. The back of the house This would be the front. The entrance is on the side where the driveway is. Side view of the house |

| Wow! It's really shaping up, Ed. I love the patio railing/fencing. Nice! Isn't it amazing what you can do with a structure as simple as a box? You have done wonders with it. I can't wait to see the finished product!!! | |

| Thank you!
Originally, it was done in black and grey. Then I got the wall hanging and that changed everything.
Between the picture and finding the bedroom, it all fell into place. The bedroom is from 11Dots
Oddly, if you look through the house, nothing I recolored is in there. LOL |

| I think I might be done. This is the back of the house. I added the same kind of fencing that you see in front of the bedroom window. I'm just wondering if it's a bit much. The house at night. I'm a bit too far away. I know....... Bird's eye view bottom floor Bird's eye view bedroom The circular thing you see is that lift by Taragas (sp?) That can be turned invisible, which it will be. Earlier I was amazed that nothing I recolored was in the house. But, I took care of that! I recolored the pillow on the right side of the couch. The chair next to the window was something I had already done but forgot I even had it in the game. |

| I personally do NOT think the railing/fencing under the large (fabulous) bedroom window is too much. It rather spiffs it up a bit and gives it a little more top to bottom symmetry. But of course, this is Andrew's department, not mine. That's handsome railing, btw. I like the style and color. Isn't it amazing what can become of a plain old box? I SO like what you have done to the place, Ed. Are you going to do any landscaping (also NOT my strength, lol)? BTW, can I have that chair recolor of yours? I LOVE it and think it is a beautiful compliment to my Mocha Meringue set. I'd need the mesh, too, as I don't think that chair looks familiar. | |

| Wow Ed that place is wonderful!! I love the big windows you have used! Im a huge fan of earthy tones! Thats how my home is in RL!! Lots of old wood and earthy colouts! I hardly used them in my sim stuff..........I think my freaky side comes out when I play sims!! You sure know what to put together though!! | |

| I have a question for you if you be so kind? I have done this house and I want to get rid of those little extra walls, those things on the roof. Can you help me, please? | |

| It´s a nice box you have here. Those are really big those windows and I´m happy I don´t have to clean them. I like the bedroom. Nice colors. | |

| The window is only two pieces. I can make it as long or as short as I want.
I think it's great! It's the only window I used in the house.
The bedroom is the mesh set. |
