| Holly's Hilarious Hood! Holly, I just wanted to say, again, how glad I am that you've joined at Sugah's. Secondly, I'm happy you've decided to start your own "What's Going on in Your Game" thread here. Your Lauren IS quite a beauty. I agree. The Passel of Moppets challenge! - Ari wrote:

I really enjoyed that one, too, ladies. Holly, FYI: We have a special section here called Challenge Central, where anyone can share any challenge they are currently working on. I hope you will consider sharing your PoM experience with us.

| Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!!! I am not big on Monty Python so I wouldn't have recognized that, but TOO FUNNY, Jen! Wherever did you find Rafe's shirt? What a beautiful family! - Ari wrote:
- Whoa...just....wow. Rafe is freaking hot! I mean steaming gorgeous.
You wouldn't consider making Rafe available to our members, would you? He's snackolicious to the umpteenth power, darlin'. I love the Faulkner's abode and that pretty Nicolette is a big Twilight fan. I need to start doing some theme teen room recolors (PotC, Twilight, etc.). The Coffee/Cappucino on the kitchen wall ... Is that art or a wall panel? It's very cool. I need to try something like THAT, too!!! - Lady A wrote:
- The house, as always, just blows me away. Every detail of it - so soft and pretty...and homey! It's beautiful, but livable, too.
I couldn't have said it better myself, Ari. Beautifully done. I love it!

| Gorgeous family, Jen! And I am so loving their house! The living room is totally my favorite. Lovin' that recolor of 'our' favorite (I have it in my game now thanks to you! ) coastal quarters living room set. The earth-toned cushions are a beautiful, subtly striking contrast to the white upholstery! Just lovely! | |

I like MummySim's Coastal Quarters Living Room so much, I've done two recolors of it for this weekend's update. Jen, the pillows are not a part of that set, except for one square cushion. Do you know whose pillows you've used on the CQ sofa?

Do you know whose pillows you've used on the CQ sofa? Eeek! I can't think of who they belong to off the top of my head my friend. I will try to find out and get back to you, I do know that there were at TON of recolors of those meshes and they come in various sizes... Lady Toni wrote - Quote :

| I sent you a sneak peek of the first recolor I've done. I just finished taking snapshots of the second. I think they both turned out pretty nicely. I agree with you ladies. The couch is awesome. No hurry about the pillow mesh...Whenever! Jen, the Coffee/Cappucino on the kitchen wall ... Is that art or a wall panel? | |

I have that and the pillows on my list to look at for you next time I am at home and can fire up my game...

| I took a bit of a break from my PoM family today, and decided that since it was bugging me how much Lauren was liking Darren, I would make Darren a love interest. Meet Emmy Dawson. She's a taurus knowledge sim, with an LTW of becoming a mad scientist. I haven't done much with her yet. Just moved her in, and had her and Darren become acquaintances. Tomorrow I may play them more, but I'll probably play my PoM family for awhile first. | |

| I am so sorry everyone, Life got hectic and with my site work other bits and bobs family blah blah blah I had to put this thread on the back burner Anyway first thank you all for your lovely comments! Sugah, I'm sure Lily would happily do a tutorial for you, though I'm not sure what paint programme she uses, I know Bdh has paint.net and Coral paint shop pro. I'm so glad you like the paintings and house Sugah, your comments always make my day! ilikefishfood many thanks I'm glad you like the house and good point on the steps there I hadn't thought of that. As for my game I've removed all my hacks other than sim blender and have been able to play I have an update below for you. Astral Faery and soloaris your cooments have truly made my day, thank you so much Here is an update for you all: No.1 I have started a legacy now I have got my game working, as this the first time I have been able to play I kinda went other board with playing and taking pics and forgot to write the story...So here is a slide show of chapter 1 and first 38 pictures. There is still one or two problems in game such as picture taking which I have now thankfully sorted out now so very sorry for the quality here: Oh and her name is Julie Nickelson. (I was watching the shining the night before) I also have a beach house I created for a challenge entry: And I've done a clothing request for a friend of mine: Lastly I did a blue title recolour for my game: So I don't over load you all with pics There will be another update a little later this week ;) I hope you have all enjoyed my update | |

I use some templates from Selzi, but not her original batch. I agree with you when you point out that they make all the sims look too Asian. - Holly wrote:

She's a stunner, and I think that she and Darren will look good together.

| Warning Pic spam and long post ahead! I am working on three stories at the monet so this is a long and prob confusing thread, it may be best to more one story to the challenge section, let me know if you would prefer that Ok No.1 is for Ulli, Jenn and Sugah. I had a download spree here yesterday and many of the items made there way to my newly called "Beach Side Sisters" story. Two sims are Rhiannon and Emily by Jenn (with little tweaks to clothing) House is by the wonderful Ulli who asked I show her what I did with it. And Some of the Recolours are by the lovely Suagh. Anyway without further ado meet the Route Sisters: There absoultly stunning abode which looks (if its possible) even better ingame than in pictures, a highly recommended download: And lastly the starts of my decorating atempts for their living room: My second story is my own little challenge of two twin sisters, both Fortune sims who want to own a business empire: A picture of their house(Shop at the front, House st the bsck): (Sorry for the dark pic it was night before I remembered I need to take a shot of the house Day 1 and 2: Learning to paint(badly). Practising cooking, part 1: Practising cooking, Part 2: Firemen starting to get a little annoyed at this point. (this all happened in 2 sim hours) Starting up the home buisness: Going to work: The cooking is Improving: (I did also have a first day of buisness but appear to have forgotten to take pictures However I took about 6 pictures of cooking for some reason Lastly Chapter 2 of my legacy: Lucky geine, Ugly sim alert, Skill building, more nature and still no house. I'm gonna have a go at actually writing a story form the sims point of view but please be warned, my writing needs work and lots of it! Hi all its Julie again, I've had another fun week on the outskirts of BellaDonna, I had a bit of Luck on monday: A strange lady dropped this off. Me being me I decided to have a rub I'm sure in any other town this would freak me out! Instead I wished for wealth as I'm still sleeping in a tent: And almost got hit on the head, you think they would think of a less dangerous route: I got three promotions this week as well so I'm ona roll at work: I'm lovin working on my nature and tinkering hobbies: I can now talk to plants, why I needed to learn this I don't know, I'm already nuts enough to talk to them without learning: However the fruit is much better now, and I have a nice large space: I got top hobby for nature, so it went in pride of place *Cough*: The starnge lady came back on friday and offered me a blind date, I had to pay here 3,000: And THIS is what she gives me: Personally I want my money back! Then I found out she doesn't give refunds Hum, until next time Again sorry for the long update, let me know if you would prefer I move a story or two somewhere else as I have some Recolours to show you next and some sims I created so it could get confusing! | |

| That was very enjoyable. I liked learning about your two ladies and the adventures they're having. Ulli's beach house looks so beautiful. I am so happy you're able to play your game again. I had a thought though, about the hacks you removed. I am wondering if they are updated for the game configuration you have? I know when I installed Apartment Life, I didn't think to check all my hacks and mods to make sure they were safe to run with it. I had so many problems with my game that I stopped playing it for awhile. When I got a new computer and had to reinstall, I started over hack hunting and made sure that everything I got was updated for AL. The same can happen for just regular ol' downloads, too, if they don't match your game setup because they might use meshes from EPs or SPs that you don't have. I'm glad you figured it out, though! | |

| Claire, WOW! First of all, Jen is going to love seeing her beautiful Emily & Rhiannon (The Route Sisters) in your game. Ulli's beach house looks fabulous, too! I am thrilled to see my Coastal Living & love how you've decorated the room. Great rug ... Love the 9 square artwork & ironing board ... It really all coordinates well, doesn't it?
