I will make sure she sees this outpouring of well wishes and encouragement from you all.

Martha, makes you wonder, doesn't it? Are they going down a list of Sims sites? Are any Sims site owners' Photobucket or Mediafire accounts safe due to this ongoing, vicious hijacking?
I encourage each of you site owners to do whatever you can to beef up security, if at all possible.
It appears none of us are guaranteed resistance from this nightmare.

Again, many thanks for your consideration and kindness through all of this.
And remember, if we have missed any of the images that need immediate removing @ Sugah's, please PM one of us here ASAP.

PS I just want to go on record as saying anyone who could do this terrible thing to someone as dear, kind, generous and supportive as Hunter has to be one of the absolute lowest that slither amongst the community.
I am hoping that what goes around, comes around and am in the process of reporting as much information as I can to the proper authorities.

It's just disgusting. Hunter and Sugah both have been among the nicest and most generous simmers I have met online. I know they've both put their heart and soul into their forums and sims' creations and have worked hard to make their forums, not just a place to chat and snag downloads, but like home. Hunter, especially has been so welcoming to members, offering some of us places of our own on her forum. That someone could come in and try to tear these lovely places down and replace them with filth, is just disgusting, reprehensible, beyond words. I hope they are stopped ASAP. The person behind it is just pathetic.

Hang in there, Hunter. We're all pulling for you to recover from this attack.

I'm glad now that Sugah's Place did reopen sooner than she planned, because for both Basic and Sugah's to be gone at the same time would be beyond tragic. I definitely feel the loss online when either one of your forums is down.

Hello All-

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your support.

Whatever this hi-jacking/hacking parasite has done to me and Sugah is greatly minimized because of the support of our friends in the Sims community. I will admit I've gone back and forth with the emotions and in split seconds consider hanging up my gloves.

I will not. I took a vow when I began Basic a long time ago that as long as I loved it, I would do it. I still love it. I love the game, the creation process, the
administration of a forum – but most of all I love all of you and our Sims community. I think I've thought that for a long time, but in light of all of the recent bad events – I now know that.

I will probably be inactive (appear to be) for a few days, but I will be working behind the scenes to at least get the doors at Basic back open. As for the downloads, I think they're all gone – but MOST of them I still have in my computer. I'm going to treat Basic as a new site as far as downloads are concerned and trickle them back at a pace that I can handle. With health issues, I can not promise to have them all back online in a certain amount of time –
but they will be back.

I will also continue to work on new things, because creating is really a joy for me. Basic will live on and will continue to be a sister site to Sugah's and my other affiliates.

I'm proud that Sugah has also dusted herself off and gotten back up. We will
prevail. I hope that these parasites are stomped into the black abyss of hell where they belong for the evil that they do. I too am convinced it is the same person and also the same person that has caused problems at other sites around the community.

To my Friends, especially those of you who've reached out to me with words of support and encouragement – I can not thank you enough. Having my Photo Bucket and Media Fire accounts hacked upset me, but it didn't make me cry. Your support has brought many tears to my eyes – but they are tears of joy My
Friends. Thank You Thank You.

Sugah – I don't think I can convey my feelings for you My Friend. I'm thankful for you and so happy that Sugah's is continuing on. Thank you for your support from day one a million years ago – and thank you especially for the support
last night. I was shaking and couldn't even function. My brain suddenly became that of a scared four year old. Thank you for holding my hand and getting me through the worst Sugah. Thank You so Much.

Oh, Hunter, I am so sorry. This is just insane. I can't believe there is someone out there with nothing better to do than pervert and destroy. It really pisses me off. I am very happy that Sugah got her site going again, and beyond relieved to hear that you are planning to take back control of your site, as well. You both have many supporters who couldn't bear to lose you.

Hang in there Hunter. They cannot and will not win. We Simmers are a strong united community and will not let them succeed in shuting down sites. Take your time and get things done at your own pace. We will all be here waiting for you when you're ready. Am sending you this in the meantime.

I'm so, so sorry to hear about the loss of your downloads, Hunter. Hijacking the site and replacing the images with porn is horrible enough, but to just go through and delete someone's downloads after all the work that was put into making them is just cruel.

I haven't downloaded a lot from your site, I'm not a big downloader in general, but I do save the zips when I download. I would be willing to go through my old zips, see if I have any of the zip files you're missing, and send them to you if you'd like. Maybe some of the other simmers here would be able to help replace any of the zips that your missing.

Hang in there and take all the time you need. We will be here and waiting whenever you're ready.

Well said, Hunter, and I couldn't agree with you more.
In addition to still loving the game, creating for TS2 and running this little forum, I have met some wonderful, supportive, kind, caring Simmers out there.
I am grateful for each and every soul who has offered encouragement and thoughtful, positive well wishes during this terrible mess.

I, too, have lost all my SP downloads, as you know, due to my Mediafire account being deleted (as well as all the images in my Photobucket acct).
Thank goodness I have many on cds and on file.
It will take me some time, but eventually, I will rebuild.

Hunter, I may have some of the gifts you bestowed upon Sugah's place on a cd. I could take a look at it.
I also know for a fact I've download some of my fave lovelies of yours and can check in BodyShop to see which ones, if you'd like.
I'll package any and everything up you need and send it to you. No problem, m'lady!

I've been thinking of sending out a newsletter to let everyone know about this work in progress.
What I am thinking of telling my members is ... when you click on a download thread (for eg. Callandra Living), if you see the image has been repaired ... the download link has been, too.
That way, folks will know immediately upon seeing the download pic that the download url has also been fixed.

Do you think this will keep things simple?

Just an update...
I reported the crime (hackings/hijacking of my 3 accts) to the FBI, Internet Crimes Division. They referred me to Internet Crime Complaint Center at http://www.ic3.gov/ .
If any of you have had something similar happen to you, I encourage you to report it.
The only way we will be able to stop these criminals, is to make the Internet Crime Center aware of it.
They are in partnership with the FBI.
Something may become of my report or nothing at all. But at least I have done SOMETHING.
I have also reported the crime to the abuse center of the ISP from the IP address I believe is the one that hacked into Sugah's Place.
Again, I do not know if anything will become of my reports, but at least I have tried.

That sounds like a great idea to me! I think it might be more discouraging (especially to new members) to see the picture, but not be able to download. If you don't see the picture yet, then I doubt anyone would try to download that file yet.

I am so glad that the two of you have not let this maggot bring you down and will keep your sites open and continue to bless us with your divine creations. It would be an incredible loss to the sims community to lose either one of your contributions.

Glad to see you are back up, Sugah. This is one of the most wonderful sim sites. It is a shame that some folks in this world are so miserable, they need to spread it around.

Thank you for your feedback, Em. I was thinking the same thing and have been making sure I am not doing one without the other.

I truly admire you for being strong enough to get through this and hope i will know you and your site for a long long time.

No, Sean, I didn't. I think if I had a PRO Photobucket account...one I paid for monthly...they might've had my images backed up.

Most of my site images I've got in folders in my puter(s) or backed up on disc. It's just a matter of reuploading them and changing the URLS out here.
