| Subject: CelebriSims?? Sat Aug 03, 2013 10:05 pm | |
| My daughters and I have been wondering if y'all take requests for Celebrity Sims, or CelebriSims as we call them?? If so, we would like to bring to the attention of the Divine SimGoddess Creators the cast of "The Vampire Diaries." Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce Steven R. McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert Candice Accola as Caroline Forbes Katerina Graham as Bonnie Bennett Zach Roerig as Matt Donovan Michael Trevino as Tyler Lockwood Matthew Davis as Alaric Saltzman Joseph Morgan as Klaus Mikaelson Claire Holt as Rebekah Mikaelson Daniel Gillies as Elijah Mikaelson They are all quite beautiful, and we would so love to add them to our Sim gene pool. Thank you for reading our request | |

| Subject: How to get a trash can? Wed Aug 14, 2013 10:20 pm | |
| Downloded this lot from MTS2. One of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen! Just one problem - no trash can! Causes real problems with the maid.
Anyone have any idea how to add one to an existing lot?

| Hopefully that won't cause problems with other service sims. I do remember at one time there was a buyable Mailbox and curb trashcan at Mod The Sims, But I am unable to find it now. | |

| Actually found it among the misc. Have put it in and hope it works! Thanks for your help! Actually, it doesn't work. It looks like the trash barrel, but doesn't have the functionality. | |

| The version You found could have been made before the Apartment Life expansion, From my understanding Apartment Life altered the trashcan so it could also be used on Apartment lots. If You want I could make a version for Apartment Life(or newer games), It shouldn't take too long. | |

| It turns out that the trashcan I used was labeled "fake trash can" - which is a very accurate description! Basic buildable lots come complete with mailbox and trash can, but there seems to be no mechanism to add a working trash can onto a lot. I really wonder how the creator managed it in the first place (maybe moveobjects on and then deleted it - but why???). I would greatly appreciate if you could devise a working trash can that was accessible from either build mode or buy mode. The house is really quite special, but... (BTW, it's 00:45 here - but they're doing a major, and noisy, repair job on a water main in the street outside - no sleep, so I'm putting the time to good(?) use!) | |

| Not sure if it's appropriate to post this here, but I was wondering if it would be possible to create something unique for this site as a gift for all members? | |

| Mac, you can find a buyable real trashcan (and mailbox) for your lot at Sim a Little Dream a Lot. It's under the Hacks/Mods section on the TS2 page. It's the second item in the section. This was created yeeeeeeears ago, and the one used throughout the community for situations exactly like these.

| Leave it to you, Toni, to be the sims guru of all time! Worked like a charm, and now Sim Em has a lot she can really live with! BTW, the work in the street was over at 2AM but Mr. Morris was right on schedule at 5:30 | |

| Thank you for this request, OkieDarling. None of us on Team Sugah's Place 'officially' do celeb Sims. Our resident celebrity Sim creator (Russ, aka Caleb) is on hiatus from creating here at this time.
Though, our Toni (ilikefishfood) has some gorgeous celeb look-alikes in her section (Lenny Kravitz, for example). I do not know if she'd be able to accommodate your request.
Have you asked around the Sims community? If so, have you gotten anyone to take on this project?
Let me know, either way, so I can either lock up this thread or leave it open for a bit more.
Thank you so much for being here with us, S

| Sugah, I've been on the lookout for these Sims for awhile, but have never posted a request anywhere until here. I just hadn't felt comfortable enough to do so being as I'm a squib when it comes to the creation aspect of simming. SimEm, that would be awesome Thanks y'all | |

| OkieDarling You should take a peek at ModTheSims2I'm not up on the vampire craze (just can't get my teeth into it ) but there are a lot of vampires there. Also at the Sims2Wiki hereIf these don't suit you, you can always say "Fangs, but no fangs" (I really gotta stop!) | |

| That's a great suggestion, mac. Mod the Sims is always my go-to place when there's something specific I'm looking for. You might also search by actor or character name. They have 3 different Ian Somerhalders to chose from. I thought there should be a sim out there of him at least since he's known for other roles. I did an attempt of my own. This is version 4. It took a lot of tweaking. Let me know what you think. I swear they look good in body shop and then in the game they're totally different. Then I change it and look back at the previous one and wonder what I was thinking when I thought it looked like what I was trying for. If you want him, let me know. If you think he needs tweaked more or you just want to download one of those at MTS, that's fine too. | |

Too funny, Mac. And thank you for your feedback. - Em wrote:

Me, too, Em. MTS2 is my initial "go-to place". They actually have a search engine that WORKS! Your Ian Somerhalder is a big yummy snack, btw. I think you did a fine job on him, based on pictures I've seen so far. And if OkieDarling doesn't want him, I'd be honored to offer him here at Sugah's Place, whether as a Ian Somerhalder celeb Sim or just a hunky, scrumptious Sim model.

| When are you planning on updating again, Sugah? I had some other sims (males mostly) that I thought about offering awhile back, but didn't get around to it. I can send you a PM about them and this one if you're interested. I've fiddled with the eyebrows on this guy a little more. I think I had them better on a previous version, but then somehow they ended up overlapping his eyes which was not good.

| Just in case she hasn't seen this, you might want to PM OkieDarling, so she knows you've responded (and shared what you've accomplished with your handsome Ian) here, Em. This weekend's themed update is called, "End of Summer: Fun in the Sun". Our Sims will be doing outdoorsy summer activities, anything from athletics/sports to picnics on the beach to simply painting landscapes outside. We would LOVE to offer some of your Sims here, my friend. If it is too late to take snapshots of them having fun in the summer sun (no swimsuits this update, since we did a beachy one last time)... Then you could always offer them next time around (mid September). Why don't you PM me and we'll get the dialog started on this? Thank you, btw. I appreciate the opportunity to share your creations here at this little forum, Em. | |
