- I love it! I plan my outfits around some fun piece of costume jewelry. So I can totally relate to a little thing being the inspiration for something big~
I do the same thing :) Oh great minds think a like Well right now I am working on a small apartment complex. So far I have built 4 apartments in the building. I am still trying to decide if I want to make a second floor and build 4 more.... I am also trying to finish up a couple of new homes.... So far all I have been building is one bedroom one bath homes, maybe it is time for a two bedroom home :)

| Sweeeet! Do you decorate them too, or wait for the tenant to move in? How big is the lot? I get scared playing huge lots, even with all my RAM and good graphics card, my game gets temperamental. I haven't played an apartment lot in aaaaaages. I recreated my neighbourhood almost a year ago, but I haven't moved anyone into apartments yet. I play slowly, but I'll soon have my first batch of uni students graduating and heading out on their own (my boys from my Christophe Harbour thread) and will have to venture into the wild and wacky world of apartments. Will you post yours for upload, or just taunt us with your beautiful pictures? :D I just LOVE your eye for detail. Looking forward to what you bring to us next. :wigglypig: | |

| It was a lot of trial and error when it came to apartments. First I just go in like they are a big lot and build them, you can decorate them at this point but once you change the lot from residential to apartment and start moving folks in, you lose all of your furniture except the basics like your kitchen cabinets, stove, fridge and bathroom stuffies...
It has been a long time since I have actually "played" an apartment building and moved people in too. The first time I ever built an apartment building i used the wrong doors and got so frustrated when I couldn't figure out why my lot wouldn't change...hehehehehehe.
I did end up building more apartments on the second floor, I am thinking I might just make these two bedroom apartments. All of this started because I saw a picture of the cutest studio NYC apartment online and I just went from there :)
Thank you for your sweet compliments....You my friend have a great eye for detail too....
I have only decorated one apartment so far and haven't finished the second floor ones yet but I will post some piccies of the "show" apartment...lol. If you like it I will gladly offer it for download on here....I am working on a small lot for here too :)

| Sweetie Thank you so much for your lovely comments and continued support... I completely understand about the graphics card, until I got my new computer I couldn't have anything on my old computer except the original Sims and a couple of the EP's and that was all.... Thank you for liking the apartment though :) | |

| So pretty! This makes me want to go apartment living. I love the blends of colors you used and how you have an easy going neutral living room and then a more boldly colored kitchen. Beautiful! | |

| It's cool that there are so many ways to enjoy this game. With building, recoloring, decorating, and creating, this game has a lot of possibilities. I love your new recolors - especially the second one - great pattern and colors! Congrats on your salon - how cool. And your Victorian teen is just darling. | |

How pretty, Jackie! I love your spring lot. The landscaping looks terrific and the three cottages are so cute. Thank you so much for using some of my recolors to adorn your Sims abodes. I appreciate your wonderful support, as always.

| Well seeing how I have been "iced" in since Sunday I have had a lot of time to build some houses.... I have mainly just been building and will be going back to fully furnish and decorate next... Here is one of my four houses that I have built this week...lol I call it a Modern Beach House. I received some new catalogs in the mail last week and they gave me some inspiration.. Anyway, on to the picture spam :) (this is the front room when you first walk into the house....) (Art Deco Bar Area - on other side of wall is kitchen) (Upstairs looking down to stair case and two story water fall) (1st Story Bedroom) (upstairs - I am going to make this a bedroom) I am really happy with the way this house is turning out. As I finish it more, I will post more piccies of it. Right now just with the beach lot and what little bit of furniture I have in it, it is over $80,000...lol. | |

| WOW!! This is fantastic! I love the wood flooring and the stark whiteness of the walls - it's a neat, eye-catching blend. With all the beautiful windows and the interesting layout - it looks spiffy and fun to live in! | |

| Thank you sweetie :). I was going for an "open" feel to the house...I guess kind of a branch off of feng shui...lol. I love the house now, not so much when I was first building it as I had to move a wall here, there and everywhere to get it right..hahahaha!! I still have a lot of work to do on it but I am very happy with the shell so far... | |
