ok I clicked on here and it brought me to the CEP page. not sure though. when I download the exe. is called the converter. is that the right name for the exe I want to download.

hi aaron. nice to meet you. I checked my first cd I have downloads on and I do have it. I will try it like that and see if it works and if not I will take it out and download the one that sugah told me to get.

I have a question...I am only seeing sims that have been created but not like the hair, clothes, and things like that does this site just create sims for download or do you have a download for like the hair, clothes and things or am I just not seeing them sorry..just curious

Well the Sims on the site come with what they are shone in, hair, clothes, etc...There are members (like me) that do meshes for outfits and basic textures and others who do textures...Some do furniture, some build houses. I don't believe we currently have anyone who makes hair for the game...There are custom wall textures, flooring, recolors of current furniture and what not as well.

I read up on your patches post. your talking about digital game. mine are not digital. they are store bought cds. do I still have to use those patches for my game. I thought that every time they brought a new exp. pack out, they would have the recent patches on it. will wait for an answer before starting to install my first exp. pack.

The digital games are already up to date when downloaded so they wouldn't need the patches. Now the CD and DVD versions of the game need to be patched(if there is patch for it). There is an exception to this though, That is the the compilation packs are already patched and so wouldn't need the patches applied to them. The compilation packs are University Life, Best of Business, Fun with Pets, The Sims 2 Deluxe, and The Sims 2 Double Deluxe.

sorry but I don't know what complilation packs are but I think I understand a bit. by best for business you do not mean open for business right? or fun with pets is not the pets cd. right? so since I have them all the only one I wouldn't patch is university life right?

The compilation packs were packs they released after all the expansion and stuff packs were released. Basically all they were an expansion pack and two stuff packs bundled together. Hopefully that makes more sense. If You don't have any of those compilation packs then You need to patch Your games.

Yes You can do that, I placed the patches on a CD awhile ago  and the patches install properly for me.

Tim's right...we offer ready-made sims, buymode objects, walls, floors and lots...and a handful of clothes.

Your best bet for lots of choices and easily categorized hair downloads are Mod The Sims, Insimenator and Garden of Shadows.

GOS is 'edgier' shall we say...but they're got great hair options.  I tend to trawl around the community following links, and have found some great stuff, but in terms of finding things all in one place and properly cataloged, you really can't beat these three.

Of course there's the Sims Resource, which is now all free, but I find it slow and there're multiple steps to download.  With that said, they have some of the best hair creators there like Sky Sims...and though Newsea has left them, all of her previous work is still there.  I'd rate her as one of the best hair creators in the community.

what is ilivid. do I really need this to download the patches for the sims 2.

As far as I know, iLivid is a download manager.
And your answer is no. It's not neccesary for you to have it for downloading sims 2 patches or anything related to the sims world.

I have been wanting to add more fashions to La Petite Boutique and hope to do so soon.

that's great...I started a Sims2 website mostly for myself but hoping others will like it as well..I am tired of going to 50 million sites to dig through 50 million pics to find just 1 that I love to download...so created a site to get the best creators out there onto one site...it is going to take me a bit of time to get it all together but hope in the future others will find it useful as well...I will have to check out Garden of Shadows a bit more...

That is why I wanted to create indexes for all of our most popular download sections here.
I felt it would make the downloading experience more convenient and go far more quickly.
We have preview pics for everything we offer here in our indexes.
I have yet to catch up on those in our Modeling Agency yet, but most all of the others are pretty much updated for your browsing pleasure.
