Toni's Franco Codd and Caleb's April Reins have had a little boy, Edgar F Codd. Edgar F Codd you may ask? I've named him after the late E F Codd who invented the relational database architecture. When you get your bank statements online or your doc pulls up your medical records the chances are that the computer database containing the information is a relational database. That said, the relational database is excellent for information retrieval, but horribly inefficient if you have to examine every individual in the database (e.g. epidemiologic studies)

Anyway, Franco (Fortune/Aries Architecture/Arts) and April (Popularity/Gemini EventPlanner/Dance) are both at the top of their careers and are retiring as Edgar goes on to university. Edgar is (Fortune/Scorpio) and has a hobby of Science. He will be a math major and then start an Information Technology career (doh!) Here are pics of him as a child with mom and dad, and then as a teen.

It's a little hard for me to tell, but it looks like Edgar might have Franco's coloring and April's facial features? They're a nice looking family, and I'm sure Edgar will be just as successful in his career as his parents are in theirs.

Edgar's cousin, Isaac Somerhalder (he's the son of Em's [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Popularity/Virgo Printing/Arts and the sister of Franco Codd, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Popularity/Scorpio Acting/Music)  ( to Em and Toni) had the lovely Cassie Celeste (daughter of Elle's [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and Ulli's [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) come home from high school with him. It was three bolts all the way and they had a romantic 'first kiss'


Followed by a bit of snogging...


Isaac is now off to college and I'm pretty sure that Cassie will be too. Isaac has already rented an off-campus house. Isaac will be going into the sciences and Cassie into some sort of musical career. Could she be moving in with him? Stay tooned!

Isaac and Cassie are very good looking Sims and so cute together!!

So awesome to see my simmies living their lives in your game Mac...and making pretty babies. Most of them I create just for sharing and they don't make it into my own own game!

Isaac and Cassie look good together. Hopefully, they'll continue that three-bolt romance into adulthood. You know, they could save a lot of money by moving in together while in college.

I love Franco. Now that I've played some of these sims in my game I feel extra attached to them when I see them in other's games. He has a nice looking family in your game. Cassie is a really pretty girl. I can't see much of Isaac's face in these pics but they look like a cute couple.

You may remember the Robinson family in this thread. Toni contributed both sims from Switzerland, Johann and Marta.     ! "Swiss Family Robinson" came naturally. Here are mom and dad with their twin toddlers, Heidi (the blonde) and Hannah (the brunette).


The twins became teens and had breakfast with mom and dad just before they left for university. You should notice the kittycat in the painting in the background. That's Mr. Morris, daddy's kitty (actually daddy's owner).    The picture was posted on the adoption center's website before we adopted Morris way back in 2008. He was lucky? We were lucky!


Although it will be a bit cramped with the two of them, the girls chose to rent a house at Academie Le Tour. They'll both be studying drama. They're both Family/Aries. Heidi is a bit tempermental (she has a '1' in grouchy-nice). She'll probably go into the Maxis Dance career - hiphop, tap, Flamenco, etc on the way to the top. Hannah will undoubtedly go into the more classical non-Maxis dance career here. They might well move into the same house when they're back in town.


Meanwhile, in their empty nest, Johann is continuing in his non-Maxis Pharmaceutical Industry career. (It's a tough one and he's only at level 4). Marta quit her job in the Education career to care for the girls and is now resuming it at level 6. The bookcase Education career reward is one of the best and will help Johann advance as well. (He's Fortune/Scorpio and she's Family/Pisces). They both have a hobby of Science.

This will be the first of two posts in this thread by me. Earlier today, I posted up reports on four families but lost the whole post. This time I'll do two in one post and follow it up with two in the next.
In July of 2014, we moved to the twin cities. The very first download from this site after I got my 'puter running again was Sugah's Suvi I gave her the full name of Suvi St. Paul. She met and eventually hooked up with Jacob Febb (again, Sugah!). Suvi (Family/Scorpio) is at the top of the RealEstate career. Jacob (Family/Taurus) is at the top of the Tourism career. (I use a lot of 3rd party careers.) Anyway, they had a daughter who I named Minnie A St.Paul. You might ask what the 'A' stands for. Her full name is Minnie Apolis St.Paul. Here is the child Minnie with mom and dad.


And Minnie as a teen and YA. She's Popularity/Capricorn, is at university, and plans a career in Cuisine. She's a bit of a grump.   Don't mess with her!


Ari's Sherilyn and Jen's Ethan met and hit it off and have a little boy, Jackie. ( to Ari and Jen). Sherilyn (Knowledge/Aries) is at the top of the Business career and Ethan (Knowledge/Virgo) is at the top of the very difficult Astronomy career.


Here's Jackie as a teen with mom and dad, then as a very handsome    university guy! Jackie (Pleasure/Aries) plans a Baseball career. In RL, his namesake played right field for the Boston Red Sox while Ted Williams was in left. Boston, alas, was one of the very last major league baseball teams to integrate so the RL Jackie Jensen was white but the sims one is black. (It took black players like Pedro Martinez and David Ortiz to break the "Curse of the Bambino" and lead the Sox to - finally - win the world series.)

Now for the second post.

Toni contributed both parent sims here : Kelsey and Lucien. Kelsey (Knowledge/Pisces)  is in the Veterinarian career and has the surname Bassett. Lucien (Popularity/Scorpio) is almost to the top of the Adventurer career and has the surname Nevin. They have a son, Fred Bassett (sorry!)


Fred (Family/Aries) is off to university and plans a career in something musical. You can see that he and his dad share a hairstyle.


Last, but by no means least is the Jenner family. Raymie is a creation of SimEm and Phillip is a creation of Jen's . Raymie (Popularity/Scorpio) is almost at the top of the Culinary career and Phillip (Knowledge/Pisces) is almost at the top of the medical career. Here's the family with their daughter, Brittany, as a child. BTW, Brittany is named after a RL young woman who was a friend of ours in Boston. Raymie looks so much like our friend!


Brittany is a very pretty young woman, shown here first as a teen then as a YA. She's Popularity/Aries and plans a career in the sciences. At univ, the guys are enrolling in science courses like never before! Guys! The line starts at the right!

Minnie is a cute girl. She has a unique look. Jackie is definitely a handsome guy. Fred looks like he's a lot of fun. His parents make a very nice looking couple. Brittany is adorable as a child and absolutely stunning as an adult. Thanks for sharing your updates. I enjoy seeing your families.

Nicholas is the son of Chris Nevis, a born-in-game sim but... the son of Toni's self-sim and Kostos, a sim she created.   Chris married another born-in-game sim, Ginny Genni, the daughter of Jen's Giada   and Toni's Neil. Here, Nicholas is having dinner with mom and dad.


Here's an earlier picture of Chris and Ginny. Poor gal is trying to practice ballet     while he's hogging the mirror to check himself out!   He's grown up a bit since!


Chris invited his mom, Toni, over. I used Sim Manipulator to "elderize" her (she is, after all a grannie), and here was the result. No, she doesn't have grey hair. I imagine the "do" on her didn't have a grey version "only her hairdresser knows for sure"   She laughed about his joke about trains ("Why doesn't an engine sit down?" "Because it has a tender behind!"   - I must have learned that joke by the time I was six  ) and then gave the little guy a grandmotherly kiss.


Here are pics of Nicholas as a teen, and then as a YA off to univ. He'll probably be a physics major and enter a science career. One of the default male offspring hairs is a buzz cut. Chris kept his. Nicholas might get some longer, wavy hair.

Wow, Jackie really did grow into a handsome young adult. I hope he doesn't break too many hearts.

Kelsie and Lucien are a gorgeous couple and look so happy together. I'm sure Fred must have had a happy childhood and has a bright future ahead of him.

Brittany is stunning, and looks a lot like her mother. I don't think she'll have any trouble fulfilling her Popularity wants!

Just a quick update: Connie, the daughter of Elle's Jacqui    and Caleb's Brandon Callahan    met Drake, the son of Em's Octavia   and Jen's Peter   (actually, in the game, Jacqui was an adopted teenage daughter of single mom - Elle's Cleo  )

They've met in university, hit it off with a strong two bolts. Connie invited Drake over for dinner - Broccoli, Pasta, and Chicken. It obviously was a big hit! Watch this space. Drake, you are soooo doomed - but then, Connie looks like a good fate to have.


BTW, "Drake" is a perfectly good name for a guy, but has anyone ever known a woman named "Duck"???

An update on Connie and Drake. Believe it or not, they hadn't had their first kiss. It was a bit awkward, but it's led to an engagement!


Toni's Rafael   and Ulli's stunning Veronica    had twins, Suzanne and Kyle. Rafael (Fortune/Pisces Dance/Dance) is almost to the top of the dance career. Veronica (Fortune/Scorpio Model/Dance) is at level 8 in the model career. Here we see them with their two teenage kids.


Suzanne and Kyle have rented a house together at univ. Suzanne will probably be a philosophy major while Kyle is going into drama. Kyle is really lucky - Suzanne is a superb cook and will be going into a culinary career. Her cooking    sure beats college chow    , but he'd better be careful not to gain weight since he's headed toward an athletic career!

You know how I love the family dinner shots, and that's a good one of Rafael and Veronica's family.

Looking at Kyle's sideways pose complete with head turn, I'd say Drama is exactly the right major for him.

It's always fun to see the SP gang with their kids and now grandkids. I wouldn't guess that Sim Toni is a grandmother. She doesn't look it! He grandson has grown into quite a handsome young man though.

Connie and Drake are an adorable couple!

Suzanne and Kyle look like they're ready for college! That's nice to have siblings rooming together. I'm sure it will be fun.

Two sim offspring have hit it off with 3 bolts! Ari's Sherilyn and Jen's Ethan had a boy Jackie Jensen, and Em's Raymie and Jen's Phillip had a girl, Brittany Jenner. to the creators, but as you can see above on this page, their simmies were no slouch in creating themselves! Jackie is one handsome-doggie-woggie of a guy and Brittany? OMG!!!    Stunning!  

At univ they found themselves in the same college registration line (Jenner and Jensen) and Jackie wasted no time in talking up a beautiful gal! The result? 3 Bolts!

They had a sort of tentative first kiss...


Then followed up with more enthusiastic lovemaking!


Jackie has graduated and is starting out in a baseball career. Brittany is still in univ but will surely be moving in with him when she graduates. Then... I can't wait to see the kid(s) they produce!
