Mac's 'Hood

Thanks for your reply and answering all my questions :) I knew about the posing option but hadn't remembered seeing a sit one!! Yay!!

Sugah has some lovely granddaughters. I like the pose, too.

Morris MacLaughlin-Jalkio and Loretta Alda (daughter of Alan Alda) have a little boy, Ralph (named after my RL dad) Ralph has a Music/Dance hobby and is an Aries


Here's the family. Seated in front are mom and dad (Morris and Loretta). Standing in the back are elderized Maikki and Dean, with Maikki holding Ralph. In RL, I'm not as bald as that - yet!  And Maikki is much prettier and much more fit than her sims avatar! (She's still a dancing girl, after all)

That's something I've never liked in Sims 2 -- no matter how fit the adult Sim is, the elder version is automatically less fit.

Looks like Sim Dean and Maikki have a nice, happy family!

I've been playing Cupid lately. I noted a lot of simfemmes from non-Sugah creators pining away in my 'hood. So I went to AffinitySims, MTS2, and TSR to download some eligible males - and made sure in CAS that they had favorable Aspirations and Zodiac. Sarah was a creation from Scarlet117. She's a member on this site but contributed Sarah on MTS2. Sarah is a very lovely gal - one of the gorgeous women in the Information Technology career. I brought in Peter Shephard by Guest at Affinity  , gave him the proper Zodiac and Aspiration and... 3 bolts!  Here are a couple of pics of their very private wedding and their wedding dinner for two. BTW, Sarah is suddenly feasting on Pickled Herring and Watermelon Hint Hint


I'm doing the same for lonely Sugah's site simfemmes, picking out guys from Modeling Agency: Anderson, Everett, an Jae for a start - to Toni and Ari

Our Tim managed to land the scrumilicious beauty, Darcy    (Elle -  ) He's Fortune/Sagittarius I.T./Arts and she's Fortune/Pisces Business/Science. (Yes, he resisted all the allures of the DDG gals in the Information Technology Career   ) Tim and Darcy have a brand new baby, Charlotte (If the baby had been a boy, he would have been named "Charlie")
Then Darcy was at last able to wear her spectacular wedding dress, even for a very private wedding on the little porch just off their bedroom as she made an "honest man" out of him.

OOoOOOO weddings!!!

Here's an update on two simmies contributed by SimEm: Alistar and Jade. Alistar and Jade got engaged...


And had a little girl, Janelle


We really got to see what she looked like when she turned into a child. Even with the blah-blah Maxis default child's hair, she looks like she will break some hearts one day. Not surprising considering that her mom is stunning and her dad is a handsome doggy-woggy! She is very reminiscent of another lovely created by SimEm: Raymie. Later I fixed the hair and Janelle was busily building up creativity points. She looks like she'll be doing something in the sciences. She's a Scorpio. Mom is (Popularity/Aries Dance(9)/Dance) while dad is (Fortune/Gemini Athletic(8)/Fit)


The next morning at breakfast. Jade is now a World Class Ballerina, and Alistar is about to go off to work and should return as a "Coach". Janelle is taking the weekend to swot up on skills. She's 6 in logic and charisma, 5 in creativity, and is studying mechanical! Superkid!

I would say Janelle got the best of both parents, but there's really nothing bad to inherit from either of them!

Yes, with parents like that I'm not surprised Janelle is so beautiful! I love the hair you gave her too!

Rohan Bird (the offspring of two Silmarillion characters: Beren Erchamion and Luthien Tinuviel - lovelorn in the book but united in my 'hood - both by Licia21 @ MTS2  ) and Clarissa Bird ( birdgurl) have a daughter, Robin Bird. Rohan is Family/Scorpio NaturalScience/Science while Clarissa is Knowledge/Pisces Poet/Literature. I suppose that since Rohan's mom is an elf that Rohan is a half-elf to use a D&D term. Does that make Robin a quarter-elf???
Anyway, Robin is Knowledge/Scorpio and has a Science hobby.


Robin was a real swot in high school and is now at university pursuing studies in STEM (She's a physics major). She's pretty serious, hasn't been kissed, and will wait for three bolts before committing herself. I've asked lientebollemeis at MTS2 to send me spreadsheets to fill out for an Engineering career. Hopefully, the career will be up and running after two of my seasonal cycles so Robin can be an engineer and have all sorts of engineering geeks after her!  

She's lovely Mac! Can't wait to see who will come along and turn her head!

Robin is lovely, and looks like a quiet and sweet girl. She'll probably have more than engineering geeks after her. She's smart to devote herself to her studies first, and wait for true love. I hope she finds it soon, but not so soon that it disrupts her education.

I like the story you have for Robins parents-her Mom is very pretty! Robin is very pretty too and so serious! I hope your Engineering career works out good for you!! Robins pink sweater is so cute !

I love seeing the families of the Sugah's Place simselves. It's so fun! SimMac and SimMaikki and SimTim and Darcy have raised (or are raising in SimTim's case) very nice looking families.

Peter and Sarah make a really cute couple. They look like they are going to be very happy together.

That's really neat that Janelle looks like Raymie. I can see the resemblance. It makes sense though, Jade and Raymie were born in game sisters so even though they don't look much alike, I guess they still do have some of the same genetics. I think Alistar might also be a relative of Raymie's too, so she might have inherited some of the same traits as Raymie from his side too.

I like Robin too. It sounds like she is a very accomplished young lady. I agree with Cher's assessment of her, sweet and lovely are definitely the right words to use to describe her looks.

Tommy Ottomas is the son of Peter and Samantha Ottomas. Dora Ottomas is Peter's mom and Tommy's grandmother. Tommy has siblings David, Sharla, and Odile. (All of the Ottomas' are Maxis NPCs.) Hayden Panettiere is by allikow on MTS2 - submitted as a teen. Now Hayden and Tommy have a little boy, Otto Ottomas - and just after Otto's birth, who should drop by but Dora - the great-grandmother!   First great-grandmother in my 'hood! BTW, Tommy and Hayden are both Knowledge/Cancer. He's Science(9)/Science and she's Technical Theatre(5)/Arts.

In the original Ottomas household, Dora had an apartment on the third floor. Without her babysitting and even toddler training, I don't know how Samantha and Peter could have raised four kids!

Congratulations on your first great grandma! I love having extended families in the same household, at least until the kids become teens.

Otto Ottomas is a cute name.

Morris MacLaughlin-Jalkio is the son of my self-sim and my sim of my wife, Maikki. He married Loretta Alda, the daughter of Alan Alda (from a now-discontinued website, simpathetic). and an NPC sim. Alan wanted to name her "hotlips" but his wife demurred, so they named her Loretta after Loretta Swit.


They've had a son, Ralph MacLaughlin (named in honor of my late dad - sure to be in an engineering career which I'm designing) Here he is just before he left for university.


This is the amazing picture. I made no - zero! - changes to the YA Ralph after he changed from a teen, but he's the image of his maternal grandfather!  

Wow, Morris came out very handsome and he picked a beautiful wife! Loretta is adorable!
