| Okay, I downloaded the single bed (part of the mediafire link you sent me). I will try to zip it up and send it to you. Perhaps you can extract it into your downloads file that way. We'll test this file first.
Going to email now... | |

| Subject: OMSP Question - Solved! Mon Sep 27, 2010 10:40 am | |
| Ok so I am probably just a big dummy but I cannot for the life of me figure these things out.
I see everyone putting all of this wonderful clutter and such around their homes just like you would find in a real home but I cannot get OMSP's to work for me.
I have tried several different ways to make them work and I just don't know what in the crap I am doing wrong.
Does anyone have any (I need this dumbed down for me) suggestions?
Thanks! | |

| The guy who invented OMSPs deserves a major smooch from all of us who love to put clutter all around our Sims abodes. That's for sure, Jen. You will need two cheats: the move objects on and snap objects to grid ones I'm assuming you've found the OMSPs in your buy catalog (misc surfaces)? Simply choose the right height OMSP (desk, counter, coffee table, fridge, book shelf, etc). Place the object (clutter) on top of the OMSP. Then, move the OSMP (with the clutter on it) to the desired place. When you've got it where you want it, use the design took (shaped like keys) to turn the OSMP invisible. Voila! That is how I do it. I hope I've explained it okay. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Bon chance, cherie!!! | |

| Can you give me the blow by blow, m'lady?
Are the OMSPs showing up in your buy catalog under surfaces? What is happening when you try to place clutter on top of them and then on the surface?

| Yes they are showing up and I can place them on the floor.
When I put my clutter on them and then try to move them to let's say a counter for example, it will not let me place it there. *scratches head* and it leaves my clutter on the floor...aaarrgghhh

| Are you using the moveObjects ON and boolprop snapobjectstogrid false cheats, Jen Jen? When you put the clutter on top of the OMSP, it DOES sit there, right? Or does it refuse to work on top of the OMSP? Is it just when you move your OMSP to the counter (desk, table, etc.)?
Whose OSMPs are you using? I have Ariffrazalin's and JBrehault's.

| Yeah I am using both the cheats but it still doesn't work... The clutter refuses to move with the OMSP....
Maybe I will check out those two OMSP's you listed and try again.
I am not giving up!! hahahahaha
If I could ever figure this stuff out I am gonna clutter up one of my houses....lol!!

| That's odd. So, it'll initially GO on top, but when you try to move the OMSP to the designated spot, the clutter drops to the ground?
Let me know what you learn, m'lady. Sounds like you are doing everything right.
The two OMSP creators I told you I use are at MTS2, FYI!
PS I know how much you love clutter to help spiff up your lovely Sims abodes. I hope you get it worked out. Let me know if I can help.

SO happy you can clutter up your Sims' abodes to your heart's content now. What do you think the issue was?

| Subject: Sims 2 Bed Pillow Mesh Request - Solved! Thu Sep 30, 2010 2:00 am | |
| I'm looking for 2 meshes, single and double, single may be slaved to double if you wish. I wish them to look like this: I would like if possible, each pillow to be individually recolorable, and take a full pattern. I do love the ones Rgdyanne has at Sims2Artists, but unfortunately, the back pillows are divided into quarters, and can't take a full pattern. I hope this can be done. Thanks!!! | |

| Wow! Great minds, Deb! I have been needing more bed pillows exactly as you're describing. Lirunchik's Fogerton Bedroom Pillows might work for you. CrazyTulip, a very talented recolorist, did some beautiful recolors HERE. The mesh is included, but here is the original set by Lirunchik at BPS. What I don't know if these are each individual pillows, as you've requested, or partial ones as you've discovered already. I'm thinking Simply Styling might have some individual bed pillows. Have you checked there? | |

| yeah,I tried out a lot already. Jope's pillows (Simply Styling) are not made for maxis beds, only her own, they don't quite fit, I tried them all.
I've tried Mango Sims's pillows, Mystic Rain's Antonia set pillows, Sherry's West Elm Pillows, ATS's pillows, and Mira's pillows at BPS. The Fogerton pillows at BPS are too many pillows, and only come for double beds.
Sherry's come closest, but they are only double, no single. I'd like to keep the pillows both single and double from one person, cause then the style is the same, see.
But, yes, I've tried dozens, and nothing quite fits. Or does and no single or double to go with it. So, I figured, a new simple mesh. Maybe someone can do?

| WOW! You truly HAVE tried your share of bed pillows. I see what you are needing now... Pillows that can accomodate both single and double beds and that can be individually recolored.
I haven't checked out half the pillows you have. Does Jonesi offer any (at BPS)?
Have you put the word out at BPS and other sites that are blessed with many meshers, Deb?

| No, Jonesi doesn't offer any bed pillows. And only other ones I've seen are slaved to his blanket, which won't do either. I need them not slaved, unless it is like, the single slaved to the double, that's it.
And yes, I have posted this request over at BPS, but like the other 2 requests, people look, but don't answer. I post here, cause you have talented people, who are maybe more willing to do small things.

| I'm all about helping people, but you and I both know... The thought of meshing makes my brain hurt, luv! Perhaps, when things slow down for Laurie, he might take this one on, too. I can't remember if he has a request section over at Simtopia or not. Have you checked? | |
