| It's a long story. Here's the info from Prima: Sign,Likes,Dislikes Aries,Gemini/Taurus,Cancer/Libra Taurus,Aries/Libra,Virgo/Cancer Gemini,Pisces/Virgo,Capricorn/Aries Cancer,Taurus/Scorpio,Gemini/Aries Leo,Sagittarius/Cancer,Capricorn/Gemini Virgo,Aquarius/Sagittarius,Leo/Taurus Libra,Virgo/Cancer,Pisces/Scorpio Scorpio,Pisces/Leo,Libra/Aquarius Sagittarius,Pisces/Capricorn,Libra/Scorpio Capricorn,Aquarius/Taurus,Leo/Gemini Aquarius,Capricorn/Sagittarius,Scorpio/Virgo Pisces,Scorpio/Gemini,Leo/Aries Thus Pisces and Scorpio make a perfect couple, as do Aries and Taurus Taurus will like a Libra, but Libras don't like Pisces In the case of Owen and Simone, he's a Cancer, she's a Leo. She's attracted to him but he's neutral toward her. Here's the whole story | |

| Wow! Thank you, mac!!! This information is so great to have. I only knew that Scorpio and Pisces got along well. The rest of it was a big mystery to me. | |

| Although Ari and Sharon Stone are both romance sims, and did want to keep their independence, in the end, they decided that nothing beats home cookin' (And the 2 of them really cook! ) While we're on cooking, there is a Crepes Suzettes dessert (I can't find it among my downloads - is it a Maxis addition? - Any help here appreciated) Anyway, I'm having Maikki Demonstrate - after mixing the batter and flipping the crepe high in the air, add Grand Marinier Light a match... And voila, Crepes Suzette flambe! BTW, when Maikki was an actress, one of the productions she was in was The Secret Life of Walter Mitty - and she played the character "Crepe Suzette" Waay back, when Frederick Weasley and Toni Broadswood-Smythe were just children, they hit it off... They met again when they had just become teenagers, and the attraction was still there Fred had a plan. #1: Get rid of that dweeby hair! #2: Greet her with a smooch #3: Ask her to go steady (she said yes!) #4: Initiate a "make session". Oops... Forgot #3.5... Make sure mom and dad are still playing chess. BTW, one of the descriptions of mom's posture is "Double Teapot" Still, mom fixed Fred's favorite pizza and they all had dinner. I think that mom likes Toni! Saying good night, Toni's just a bit shy... But they have a very tender goodnight kiss. While Ron and Nisa cuddle and remember... Nisa: "Remember when we were young like that???" Ron: "You still are!" I think I got Ron as a teenager from MTS2 and made him an adult in CAS. The moment I saw Nisa on the site SimTR, I knew she was destined for Ron, and the butterfly girl dress is perfect for her. Ron is Knowledge/Cancer HogwartsDiagonAlley/Games, and Nisa is Family/Pisces Culinary/Cuisine Nisa found out that Toni is into cooking, too, and invited her over when the guys were out. Could she be welcoming her future Daughter-in-Law??? They spent an afternoon with Nisa giving Toni all sorts of cooking tips. I love her! Fred really picked out a winner! | |

EA Games was on CRACK when they came up with that Astrological compatibility chart. I don't know WHERE they got their information from, but some of it is the complete opposite of TRUE Astrological compatibility. I still get a big kick out of reading Maxis' version. Oh, well. That's why they call this VIRTUAL reality! Way to go, Maikki, with the Crepe Suzette! Impressive presentation! - Quote :

| When Toni posted the house "Hamilton's Way" I had to buy it for Heli and Brandon Fish, and their son, Hamilton Fish. Even unfurnished it was pretty expensive and Heli had to go way into debt to buy it. But with the help of the hacked computer, the sims have had their very first crowdsourcing: John Cleese, Carole Hunter, Brittany Murphy, Rachelle Walsh, Shanti Adrian, Nerissa Broadswood-Smythe, Bee Brava, and Nico Genni each chipped in 5K simoleans which were transferred to her account. In the end, she only had a debt of 5K, which she paid easily. Even though I got the house unfurnished, I was able to furnish it pretty lavishly. Including a hot tub in the master bath which Heli is enjoying. I also replaced the windows leading on to the 2nd floor balcony off the master bedroom with glass doors for a little hideaway. Heli did miss the oceanfront property, but she loves the rooftop. I put in a small (community lot) beach across the street for her to show off her scrummy bod' BTW, regarding Hamilton Fish: Hamilton Fish I (1808-1893) was a Republican Governor and Senator of New York and a brilliant secretary of state under President Grant Hamilton Fish II (1849-1936) was a Republican congressman from New York Hamilton Fish III (1888-1891) was a Republican congressman from New York, an ardent foe of FDR and the New Deal, a leading isolationist, and was considered, with some cause, to be a Nazi sympathizer Hamilton Fish IV (1926-1996) was a Republican congressman from New York who, in 1974 in the House Judiciary Committee, voted for 2 of the 3 articles of impeachment of Richard Nixon Hamilton Fish V (1952-) was president of the Nation Institute (which publishes Nation magazine) and is currently president of Public Concern Foundation (which publishes The Washington Spectator) What a fascinating progression: Three pretty mainstream Republicans (although Hamilton Fish III was a bit much ), then a decidedly moderate Northeast Republican, and now a publisher of decidedly left-leaning publications. Then there's Hamilton Fish VI, son of Heli and Brandon, currently in elementary school | |

You throw me on the dates, Mac. I am not the sharpist tack in the shed, but I knew there had to be a typo in the dates. I also hesetate to remarked on things like this becauze I make so many misteakes myself. However, I found your post so interesting that I had to look that guy up on Google. Turns out he lived to be 102!I love your post and the way you weave reality and play. EDIT:I found some more amazing things about this man. He is responsible for - Quote :
- The Tomb of the Unknowns (Soldiers)
- Quote :
- On December 21, 1920, Congressman Hamilton Fish introduced legislation which was to be among his most enduring and patriotic acts as a member of Congress.
- Quote :
- The tomb, and unknown soldiers of three U.S. wars interred there today, is thought to be the most hallowed military site in the United States and may well be Fish's greatest legacy to the nation.
One more EDIT:Hamilton Fish III invariably ended his speeches with this statement: - Quote :
- "If there is any country worth living in, if there is any country worth fighting for, and if there is any country worth dying for, it is the United States of America."

Oops, my bad, Hamilton Fish's dates should be 1888-1 991. I actually get most of my historical stuff on Wikipedia.

| One thing about the age that I am now is that I can really appreciate the ease of obtaining information nowadays. Being house-bound nearly all the time, I would really miss my almost daily trips to the library. When I think back on how I researched in the past I find great delight in being able to 'surf-the-net' now.
Thank you so very much for sharing, Mac!

Thank you so very much for sharing, Mac! I am a committed book-a-holic, and for years if a question came up, I'd try to find the answer in one of my (too many) books. Maikki's first instinct has been to go on line, and I'm much more inclined to do so now, too. One has to be careful, though, there's also a lot of misinformation out there. Wikipedia is peer reviewed and, so far, I've found that most of the stuff about which I know from other sources is correct. Meanwhile, I've more or less converted to the Kindle, so my house won't fall in under the weight of books. There are a couple of books on the whole WW2 isolationist etc phenomenon: Citizens of London and Those Angry Days: Roosevelt, Lindbergh, and America's Fight over World War II - both by Lynne Olsen

The same designer just posted some really great 1x2 <10K$ starter homes here that pack in a lot for a small price! More talent from down under! "G'day" and all that!

| Sean Connery moved into a new house and while his wife Trinity was working, neighbors came to welcome him. We have here in the picture, around the table, Sean, Janet Bogart (from SimTr), Simon Cowell, Jen's Tiona, and She-Ra with her back to the camera. An unplanned occurrence. Simon Cowell, the terror of American Idol, playing dolls with Penny Connery. Of course, there's no dialogue, he could be saying "That's just plain awful" William and Kate Windsor's son. Richard William (the heir apparent) has grown into a teen. He appears to have inherited some genes from his ancestor George IV - and I've made him a pleasure sim. Let's hope that the RL William and Kate do better! Poor Stephen Bogart. Even as a teen he seems to have inherited his looks from his dad rather than his mom. See also page 39 of this thread. | |

| Sandy, glad you like my 'hood. I've always enjoyed doing a mix of celeb and custom sims. Was there really a He-Man??? I can always use more guys in my 'hood and She-Ra's still single. I do have the late (alas) Christopher Reeve in his civilian - not super -form. Toni has scored twice with her latest contributions to the Modeling Agency... Ben Jonson (Knowledge/Gemini Poet/Literature) Of course he's a poet - I don't have a playwright career. He's hooked up with April Rain (source unknown), who's Family/Virgo and is at the top of the Poet career. She had briefly been in the artist/writer commune and actually engaged to Tatania Aster. She broke up with Tatania. Actually both of them cried. And Griffin (minus the Elvis hair) seems to have something going with Crystal Sugah. Griffin is FortuneCancer Model/Science. Crystal is Knowledge/Aries but doesn't have a career yet. Probably heading toward culinary. The big event was that BeckyLynn's Vanessa (also her avatar) presented Harry Potter with twins! Harry is holding Lily and Vanessa is holding Gavin. I was originally going to name them Lily and James after Harry's late parents, but then the RL Gavin came along. Twin toddlers are a handful! But they're now children. Vanessa was delighted to have her figure back after waddling about like an ocean liner and bought herself a new knit dress to show it off. Harry had a day off so she was able to go back for a day to her job in Information Technology. It turns out that the geeks at SimSoft were working on the latest OS, code named "Aqua" and were mightily distracted. Alas, the release was plagued with "ASOD" problems followed by "Do not turn off your computer" "Downloading Update 1 of 27" | |

| Oh yes! Our son Tony was a big fan of the animated show in the 80's! He-man was the alter-ego of Prince Adam. He was the most powerful man in the Universe :) She-Ra was the Princess of Power! If you google He-man and go to the Wikipedia link, it tells all about it. I'm not sure if there is a Sim version of him or not. Might be!! My quotes didn't work right! "Twins are a handful" You got that right!! Ha, ha!! | |

| Mac, if you were looking for one, I know where one is, but no, it's not on MTS; it's on IS here because I have all of them :) In fact, I have him, She-Ra, Bow and Catra in my current hood and She-Ra and Bow are about to get married XD
And She-Ra & He-Man are twin siblings separated at birth thanks to the Horde. (I own the entire animated series now that it's on DVD and I used to own EVERY SINGLE doll and accessory for the She-Ra fandom when I was a child - and to this day it was the ONLY SERIES I ever owned everything to! XD)

| ButterflyUnion: Many thanks for the link to He-Man! I've downloaded him and will get him going when I: Terminate my currently running sims program, Sims2(Un)Pack him, start up the sims again. I'll make sure he's compatible with her - probably move him into her house as a brother. I didn't know the back story, so I'm glad you told me! Bringing him in as a lover/spouse would have been a bit shocking! Right now she's at the top of the Law Enforcement career. I haven't yet had her fly away to work - should be exciting. He'll probably end up in Law Enforcement, too. "Fighters of Evil" don't have too much of a choice! | |

| By popular request (well, request, anyway, maybe my own )here's He-Man. He's moved in with She-Ra as her brother. His DNA is exactly the same as hers (after all they're twins) and he likes blonde hair and logical and dislkies fat. I do think they'll get along. He arrived in the wee hours of the morning, but She still got up and fixed him a breakfast of eggs Benedict. Eggs Benedict! Good food! Yum! Eat! What a combo - Snacky plus Hunky! | |
