| Dom Driann ended up hooking up with Bee Brava by Bdh of InspiringSims (I don't think Bee is on the site any more). But this frees up Brittany for Lief Poisson! And if she's a girl, we can call her "Hotlips" Alan Alda, they don't call him "Hawkeye" for nothing, found Brittany under a silly hat, wearing glasses, and a haystack hairdo. With a bit of fixing up, she turned out a gem. Don't you dare call her "Hotlips"! She's our daughter! She's named Loretta! (Actually named in honor of Loretta Swit, who played "Hotlips") A new sim in my 'hood: Beyonce is having lunch with Audrey Depardieu (nee Tautou), Alan Alda (again) and Johnny Depp. It turns out that Beyonce is a distant cousin of Gustav Mahler, so that means that Maikki is a distant (say Umpteenth cousin Oxteen times removed) cousin of Beyonce! ...figures... | |

| I recently imported He-Man to go with his sister She-Ra. But what is a macho guy to do about female companionship? The budding model, Ari's Leanne, thinks she has found a solution! Since I have all of the creators on this site as sims in my 'hood, I always leap at the chance for "Sim, meet your maker!" Ari just happened to be walking by (really) Isla's house, so Isla invited her in. They have 2 bolts! Speaking of creators, Toni was very fortunate when Angelina Jolie was given a Dusty Old Lamp that she didn't need at all (she and her husband Viggo Mortensen were already at the top of their Maxis standard careers). So Angelina gave the lamp - with all 3 charges - to Toni. Here Toni, with a Sims2Creator career, wishes for Peace of Mind. Nice study in purple, too. Kostos also met his maker (Toni) and married her. He's in a Fitness career, so he wished for Peace of Mind as well. The lamp still has one charge left. And Toni and Kostos have a new son, Chris Nevis. Baby pictures aren't much to go by, so we'll have to wait for the Autumn cycle to see what the toddler Chris looks like. If the baby had been a girl, she would have been named "Kitty". First time I've ever tried this... Jen's Robin (Romance/Gemini) is living with Jen's Fin (Romance/Aries). She got to the top of her Tour Guide career and fulfilled her LTW (20 best friends) so now, having collected all those aspiration points plus platinum forever she's embarked on a new career: Dancer, with the LTW of World-Class Ballerina. Note her new hairdo - dancers have to put up their hair in a bun! On the right is a painting of pre-ballerina Robin Fin has been working on. She always loved dancing but back then was wearing her regular hairdo, even in a dance leotard!

| Two weddings and a brand-new child. Toni's Neil and Jen's Giada (one of the loveliest contributed femsims ever!) tie the knot... And have a wedding dinner - "Just the two of us" Em's Octavia and Jen's Peter also tied the knot... And had the same idea for an intimate wedding dinner. Meanwhile... What we've all been waiting for... Let me introduce Germain Depardieu, the son of Gerard Depardieu and Audrey (nee Tautou) Depardieu. "Germain" is the name of a character his dad played in the movie My Afternoons with Marguerite - a very beautiful and warm film - highly recommended! As you can see, Germain has inherited the family schnozz... But, after all, his dad did play Cyrano in a movie! Audrey gives Germain his first bath and... "I'm going to get the mail, darling" and Gerard just "happens" to run into a blonde, Rachel Roberts. "I was just being polite" "Men!" But then dad gets the "pooper duty". Richly deserved, that'll teach him! | |

Here it is! (On MTS2) Glad you enjoy the fun! Note that the creator of the Veggie Platter has created lots of food items. I've probably used about half of them. Note that some of the entrees (like the veggie platter) don't require cooking. No cooking = No cooking failures! Very handy if you're having someone over for a special meal. A cooking failure then can be a real disaster!

| You always have such a fun game going on, mac! I never know who is going to show up! I love Yelena's wedding dress! - mac wrote:

And I have a triplets and quads hack in my game, so you can imagine how crazy that gets when they reach the toddler stage! - Quote :

Loretta was a good choice. (Even better than Margaret, I think.) - Quote :
- And a sims engagement made in heaven... Will Wright and Hunter
That's quite a match! I do miss Hunter, though. I wonder how she's been doing. I like Maikki's wedding dress too. She makes such a cute sim. Congrats on baby Morris! What an interesting personality he has! Sounds like he will be a handful (much like a RL Aries boy! )

Here it is! I can't imagine having more than two toddlers at a time. As it is, having gone through several sets of twins, I now save prior to birth, then restart if there are twins (Yes, I know I'm being chicken! ) I share your sentiments about Hunter!

| Mac Vanessa and Amare look great in your game! I have actually thought of making them a couple and see what sim babies they can make. I would have to recreate them in a new hood though cause Amare is married to Hunter's Ja'Lia in my current hood. | |

Mikhail and Moonbeam make a cute couple! Sounds like he does have a volatile temper though Sofia and Alejandra, Em and Troy are so cute together! Josephine and Orlando Baena are adorable! As to your question, I think the NPC's are random and when you get an unusual one its very exciting! Derek and Melanies' daughter is SO cute!

| I think your Orlando is a downtownie. The townies that are generated in downtown tend to look the same from neighborhood to neighborhood, but I think some things about them are random, like their names. I've seen a sim that looks exactly like that in my neighborhoods. In one of my neighborhoods I think his name was Skylar and I believe he was in the athletic field as well. For some reason the name Orlando seems to go with him for me. Maybe in another hood of mine his name was Orlando too. I might have to look for him.
Yay for all the happy couples!

| Orlando is, indeed, a Downtownie. The downtownies are always to same, except for their names. There are several of them (both male and female) who make beautiful babies! When Nightlife first came along, the downtownies usually had high-level jobs and handsome bank accounts. But somewhere along the EP way, that changed -- they're no longer guaranteed to bring financial gain to your households. Mac, I'm enjoying winding my way through this very long thread -- your neighborhood is beyond my comprehension, it's SO BIG! --Betsy | |

A neighborhood can get tooo big! Around page 20 of this thread I started all over - with very few types of houses and all very densely packed. I also use extra shopping districts associated with the main 'hood for overflow and I recently added another shopping district for sims I no longer play. As long as you move families and not houses, all the friendship links stay in place and the "walkbys" cross between the subsidiary 'hoods and the main one and each other. On page 25 of this thread you can see an old pic of my main hood - since then I've added quite a few houses around the edges. On page 40, I have a (rough) census of my 'hood at the end of the spring season. I've since played summer and am now doing autumn. I play each family through a season (5 days) at a time. I keep track of all of them using a spreadsheet - see page 1 for details. The spreadsheet prints out (around 10 families to a a page, depending) and currently 12 pages! As I finish each page I back up my documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 folder. Things are getting a bit critical again, though. If I do much CAS or play around with lots the game can crash. It takes 15-20 minutes to load, which I usually do once a day, and use Windows-M to minimize to check my e-mail, word-process, etc. Every 2-3 weeks or so, the talented creators on this site present a whole new batch of simmies - usually very attractive. So, despite my best intentions, my 'hood grows and grows!
