| I hope this is the right place to post this. It says questions, but this is about the forum, not the game. What is this new thing called "star quality" under our name and avatars? I'm just curious. | |

| You beat me to it, Em! I was thinking of posting something about it here. Thank you for starting this thread. Have you been to other forums that have a "reputation" button? It's the same concept, I believe. I just changed the name of mine to "Star Quality". I thought we could all do with a little more star power. You will notice a little plus/minus option that looks like this in the posts: When you click on the plus sign in someone's post, a green bar appears and that poster's reputation/star quality gains a point. By the same token, for poopoo-kaka posts, folks can click on the minus sign. The red bar appears then the reputation/star quality loses a point. Does that make sense? | |

| Yes it does, Sugah. Thank you for explaining it. I kind of experimented with the little +/- thing already and gave you a vote sort of by accident. A positive one, of course and it was well deserved. Is there any way to see which posts we got our positive points from or is it totally unknown? | |

| I'll take the vote, even if it was an accident! Thank you. I know I have given you one or two, too. - Quote :

Hmmm...good question. I didn't read anything about that over at Forumotion support when I was looking into this reputation business. Let me see what I can learn. And if you can decipher anything, I'd love it if you'd share it here, Em. Hey...does the green or red reputation bar stay upon bestowing a positive or negative rating? Maybe that's how we can tell?

| Oh, I guess the bar does stay after you vote. I see one on my own post above and on yours too. Cool! Before I gave you the "accidental" point, when I first saw the star quality numbers, I thought it was definitely not right that you had 0, so I'm glad I could help fix that. | |

| Love the idea. We can all use some positive re-enforcements! Thanks. Just curious. I noticed I have one of those bars on one of my posts and it says I have 2 votes - yet they don't show up anywhere. | |

| It IS a cool idea, isn't it, Deb? I see you have one Star Quality vote. Not sure how this whole dang thing works, as I've had one or two disappear on mine from time to time. | |

| I'm sorry you ended up in the hospital, dear Cally. You know I care for you and am wishing you better, stronger days ahead. You are always missed when away. Hang in there, my friend. Take good care of yourself and if you're wanting to have some fun, we can always hang out here and play some games together! | |

| Pierre, I don't mesh, so the best I could do is recolor a Maxis or CC couch you find that would make a good substitute for this. See if there is a sofa that you'd be happy with for your family and I will try to give it this leather look and a similar color. Just provide the link to the mesh and I'll do the rest. | |

| That's actually a Maxis couch recolor, Pierre. Let me see if I can find it and give it a try for you. You know what I was thinking? You had requested your dear mother's painting to be turned into art for your Sims awhile back. Then, Sugah's got hijacked and some posts were lost. I hope I still have the painting image in my files. What was the name of it? Are you still interested in having me do that for you? | |

| That's exactly what I was thinking, Pierre! It would make a nice pairing with the couch you just requested. Look! I found it. I still have it. Let me see what I can put together for you, my friend. | |

| Ok, this is probably a really stupid question but I am going to ask it anyway.
I installed the base game, nightlife, H&M stuff pack and pets. Yesterday my friend let me "borrow" her University until I can purchase one. Well I installed the University but could never get it to come up and play. Should I delete the Sims folder and which one is that exactly?
I thought I might have to unistall everything and start over from scatch, do you think that might be better?

| Pierre, I was wondering what you thought of this. I recolored the Maxis couch you suggested might work AND Maxis Poisonous Forest (painting) from the base game. I also created a frameless version of the painting (not shown), a coordinating wall, candle holder, and several matching pillows. Les Jardin de Gardeniaclose up of pillows and candle holder close up of your mother's painting If this works for you, I would be happy to offer it as a gift to The Happy Simmers this week. Just let me know! | |
