| I'm so glad you like it, Pierre. Are you sure? PS For some reason the sofa appears more orange-hued in my game. This is a swatch of the ACTUAL color, Pierre. It could just be the lighting in my game or something. You can see it resembles the color of the couch you requested more closely. Do you want me to package it ALL up as a set and offer it over at The Happy Simmers then? | |

| AS, you must play the game off the most recently published EP, not the one you may have installed most recently. Since Pets is the latest published that you have installed, have you tried playing your game off of THAT cd? | |

| Pierre, do you still wish to have this request filled, or has someone at The Happy Simmers offered to do it for you?
I am not terribly adept at doing fashions, to be honest. It's not my strength!

| I don't know if anyone here could do these for you...I could try, but again, I don't normally do clothing.
Have you posted this request, officially, at The Happy Simmers? If not, I would do so there, too.

| I'm glad to hear it was just a simple problem to solve. I'm surprised it didn't tell you that you had the wrong CD in, mine usually does. I'm glad you got it worked out. | |

| Jen, please forgive me for not responding to this sooner. I didn't want to rush typing my response. I meant to do so before I headed off to my mom's in E. Texas, but time just got away from me. - Quote :

I am SO GLAD you feel that way and am very happy to have you here. You have already brought so much to this little forum and I truly hope you'll stay. - Quote :

Thank you all for making my sims and I a whole lot happier by having your beautiful walls, Sims, sets, etc. in the game. Thank you for making the game more creative! Thank you SOOOO much for your generous, kind compliments. Creating/Recoloring for the Sims 2 is a labor of love for me. I feel blessed to be able to share what I do freely with others. The biggest and best part is meeting fabulous, new friends along the way. I am very pleased you like what we do here and appreciate you saying so. - Quote :

I've been meaning to tell you... I wanted to send you the direct link of LJ's (of Simtopia) terrific tutorial for recoloring objects. I tried clicking on it several times, to get the URL for you. Oddly, it is one of those links that causes the blue screen of death to come up on my puter. I don't know WHAT is causing this (could be a driver issue), but in the meantime, there are some sites/links I can't visit without getting the blue screen. That being said, I can direct you there, but can not get the exact link for you. Strange, I know! Visit SIMTOPIA'S FORUM. Find the Plumbob People section. Then, go to Simlish, where you will see Tutorials as a sub-forum. It should be under there! I hope this helps. I thought Laurie did a good job with that tutorial. There are images, too, which make it easier to understand. I wish you all the best with recoloring. Have you started yet? Again, many thanks for your lovely regards. It is a pleasure having you here, dear Jen.

| I'm glad you plan on sticking around, Jen. I think you've been a good addition to the forum. Thanks for sharing the info about recoloring objects, Sugah. I may take a look at it sometime too, if I can ever find time in my busy life to try recoloring. It's nice to know where to look. | |

| First of all, thank you for the request. This sort of pattern is hard to work with, because it can't be matched up easily (IF AT ALL) so that it appears seamless, Jen. Do you know what I mean? In other words, where one panel ends and the other starts, it wouldn't connect smoothly. I could give it a try, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do it justice, m'lady. | |

| When searching, keep in mind whether the pattern will connect from panel to panel smoothly or not. That will help a LOT, Jen. In other words, a rose that is half missing on one panel that connects with a vine or leaf with the next, will look like kaka in game. If you find something that'll work, I'd be happy to do the request for you. | |
