| Have you updates your video card drivers?
That would be my first guess.
Another thing you might want to try is, take out your downloads folder and run the game without it. If it shows up normal, you'll know it's something you downloaded.
Try those two things and let me know how it goes. |

| Woah! That's wild, Cally! I am so sorry you're having to deal with this.
Aside from updating your graphics card drivers, to see if that helps, check this out. Have you installed a new Stuff Pack recently? Fewer cards are supported for Stuff Packs.
Keep us posted, my friend.

| Subject: Anyone else having trouble with the clean pack installer Sat Mar 27, 2010 6:59 am | |
| I am having some trouble with my clean pack installer and just wondered if anyone else is. I downloaded the newest patio set by Sugah. Well when I opened up the rar file to install it, not one of the files would show up in my clean pack installer. If I tell it to install, it is not actually installing anything as it is acting like there are no files to install. I tried to do a set of walls too and the same thing happened.
So for now I have uninstalled the clean pack installer and can now extract the files manually.

| Hi, Sugar Puff and welcome to Sugah's Place.
I don't play Sims 2's PSP version, so I can not help you, firsthand, with this question. However, I found GameFAQ's walkthrough for you HERE. You'll have to read through to find the section about Dr. Dominion.
If you don't find the answer you're seeking there, I would do a Google search for Sims 2 PSP version. I'm sure all kinds of cheats, walkthroughs and perhaps, forums for that version of the Sims will come up.
Good luck and I'm sorry I couldn't help more.

| Jen, I always have to extract first before I can use clean installer. I have lost downloads if I try to open a zipped file with clean installer. Is that what you are talking about? | |

| You don't need to use clean pack installer for objects, do you? I thought it was just for packaged lots and sims after they were unzipped. | |

| You can just unzip the rar files with Winrar (or such program) and then put the Objects files in your C:\Document\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads Then if you want to have order in your Download file you can use Delphy DownloadOrganiser ( "MTS2_Delphy_888432_DownloadOrganiser") its a good tool ( you will need Framworker1.1 to run it you can get that on Microsoft download site) to sort up all files in nit folders inside your Download folder, and also search for duplicate files that is easy to get if ones download a lot The tool you can find on MTS2 (and In this post I provide you with the code it have at that side) but you don't need a tool like SimEm said... | |

| Egads! How did I miss this? I'm sorry! I do believe Em is correct, Jen. The Sims 2 Package Installer is used for lots and Sims. I believe it can also open walls/floors ... or am I on crack? Objects are just unzipped and extracted directly into the downloads folder. Thank you for coming forward Em, Jackie & Nonni, to help a fellow Simmer in need! | |

Yes, I think you are. No, I'm just kidding. I think it does do walls and floors too. It seems like there was something different about those items, like they needed to have an extra extraction as well.

| Water damage, Why does the water rice in my neighborhoods? All neighborhoods have water damage, was there not a "cheat" wish one could low the water with? I have some faraway in my mind that I found that for many years ago, but trued it away just because I tort it was no good, the water sunk in the neighborhoods, but in high places it was totally gone... I found a way to take all water away but that is not so fun boolprop displayNeighborhoodWater [true or false] Set to false to remove water from neighborhood. | |

| Woah! That's wild, Jackie! What could've happened that your neighborhoods flooded? I wonder what causes this... ALL of your hoods have flooding?
In the back of my feeble old brain, it seems like I've heard of this happening before, but I've never actually SEEN it!

| Just so I understand what you are saying...
There's obviously NO flooding when there is no water in the hood (example: Strangetown). However, ALL of your neighborhoods that have water appear to be flooding? But when you go into the lot, the lots aren't actually flooded? They're okay?
I've tried to do a search for this, but am not coming up with WHY this is the case...

| No I haven\'t, I am reel confused, and I try to search to but there were no such things on the net... maybe it is a bug, I don\'t know, I was hopefully that you or any here had experienced this before, I played sim2 for five years and I have newer seen any thing like this... all I can think at is that something is causing this, but I cant figure out what. I shall look if there is an \"ini file\" that one can change this in...
