| I had a similar problem way back when I used to use IE, but upgrading to the latest version always fixed it. I have since switched to Chrome and have not had an issue since. FF is okay, but I just like the way Chrome is set up better. Using either one of those browsers, however, should solve the problem. | |

| Yep that is how it works, the guys seem to be light on when it comes to clothing. Are you after Maxi's clothes or a custom bodyshape?
For Maxi's shape, here is a couple:

| I downloaded this yesterday but, a message came up saying I had a newer version of something on my computer that came with my game.
Is there a good easy tutorial somewhere on how to use simpe and how to make sims. It has to be somewhat easy as this is new for me.

| Here is a bit of an explanation of creating Sims.
http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Creating_Sims
Creating Sims takes a lot of practice in Bodyshop, playing around with the sliders to see what works and what doesn't and over a period of time you become used to what slider you need to adjust, to get what you want. My first Sim (I still have the Zip file) took me over an hour and at the time to me she was great, but today I wouldn't load her.
With SimPe, what do you want to know as it is a very powerful tool that can modify just about anything in game?

| Hey Russ thanks for the sites. I'm always up for maxis shape clothing but as for the custom shape not so much... |

| I can relate, Savannah. My in game male fashions selection is quite pitiful, too. BTW, thanks for helping, Russ, as always. Here is a funky, hip, goth oriented site that a lot of people like: Club Crimsyn. They have some cool, unique male clothing. I've always liked All About Style for fashions. But there are so many of them, we're just getting started! | |

| Thank you, all, for helping Wendy. You ROCK! Wendy, I've found a large list of SimPE tutorials. Depending on what you are wanting to do with the program, look HERE. More help from TazzMan @ MtS2 HERE. Don't forget, Google is your friend! | |

| That is a great idea. We actually had a list like that over at PTS. I might confer with my team to see which sites they recommend for top quality download items (buy mode, build mode, BodyShop, etc., etc) and compile a list one day.
Thank you for the suggestion, Savannah. Did you find anything you liked at any of the suggested sites?

| Hey Sweetie,
I know what you mean about the guy's selection being slim. I have tons and tons of beautiful clothing for the ladies but always neglect my guys...
Here are a couple of sites that I like for guys clothing :)
Garden of Shadows *that is where I found all of those Monty Python T Shirts ;)

| Have you tried Googling "Sims 2 Toddler/Child Hair"? A quick search over at MTS2, pulled up THESE. There are some braided styles, but not the one you're referring to in particular. I also plugged "braids" into MTS2's search engine and it brought up a few pages HERE, though you'll have to go through to see which creators did the style for Sim females of ALL ages. Try plugging your needs into Google to see what you come up with, Wendy! | |

| Savannah, I use SimPe all the time to manipulate memories, but this doesn't look quite right. Have you tried expanding the memories section, by pulling down the scroll bar between the display area and the properties & raw data tab. See if you can expand it, and if anything shows up.
Barring that, all I can think to ask is what version of SimPe are you using?

| Just to be clear, can you post a picture of what the memories panel looks like when you expand it. When I first open SimPe, mine looks the same: But when I drag the bottom of the panel down and expand it, the memories are displayed, like this: What happened when you did that? Was it still blank? | |

| Wow! Hmmmmmm.... The newest version should not need the patch...you should be using 'SimPE 0.73.44 QA for everyone' available HERE released on April 11th 2009. The stand-alone patch was released while this version was in testing to be used with the older version of SimPe, and then this was released. The only other thing I can think of is, if you're using Windows 7, instead of just launching SimPe, you may want to right click on its icon and choose 'run as administrator.' See if that helps. Otherwise, I'm at a total loss. By the way, do the memories show up alright in the simmies' memory panels when you're running the game or have they disappeared too? If they do then the problem is (thankfully) not the simmies but SimPe. If their memory panels are displaying alright, the only other thing I can suggest is uninstalling SimPe completely, and re-installing it....and if you're using Windows 7 to run it as an administrator. | |

| Subject: Which mesh and bodyshape would you suggest? [Closed per Caleb] Wed Jul 27, 2011 5:33 am | |
| This is my first attempt at a pair of shoes, I have used parts of many meshes and highly modified those parts to come up with what you see pictured with toes. They can be attached to any mesh and therein lies the problem, which mesh? For me I will be using Custom bodyshapes, but for general usage how about some imput into general meshes for your game. A link to a particular mesh would be most helpful. | |
