| In one of my mid-night up periods I came in and fired up the computer, renamed my new ea folder and started the game so I had a clean hood for possible challenges, And then decided, hey let's make a family and test the nanny, make sure it works so I know it isn't something wrong in game...2 things I learned from that, 1 the nanny works just fine, 2 I have grown so use to using my mods and stuff that I have almost completely forgotten I use them and was almost freaking out! lol | |

I have never used Inteen, as I have read it causes havoc with a lot of different mods. In my game anyone teen and above can get up the duff, by using an EP by Chris Hatch.

| I had always had good luck with InTeen, well as much good luck as any of the teen mods seem to have. lol But I will find out what is causing it, might take me a month, but I will. I will also check Chris's mod too, see if I like it. Thanks for the input! | |

| Tim, I am not certain of this, but you know how collection files are an option to seek out certain items in our buy catalogs? I have discovered they are categorized by themes (eg asian, nautical, etc). Do you think there is a choice for Christmas/Holiday goodies stuffed into a collection file? It might be worth a quick look through your choices.

| I've checked several times, but don't see anything marked as Christmas and being lazy in nature *laugh* I haven't checked yet. I got so many things in the Sims I am working on right now I can't remember everything! lol I need to make a list and then start checking things off it!
If there isn't a Christmas collection there should be, you are right!

| I asked Toni about it. She has the Holiday Party Pack, too, and is guessing since Maxis has a collection file for everything, there might be one for the holiday stuff as well. But you haven't seen it, Tim? I know what you mean about having so many Sim coals in the fire. Soooo much Simming stuff to do ... soooo little time! If you have a chance to check again, let us know what you learn on this subject, good sir! PS You mentioned possibly getting Seasons and Pets in the Java Hut here. Do you have a Half Price Books where you live? I have found some of my SP and EP there for between $5-$10!!! It'd be worth a shot! | |

| Tim, I had a chance to play my Kokopelli family (Baby Boom Challenge) today. I only have three EPs and no SPs installed in my laptop. However, I checked the buy catalog and found that each EP has it's own collection file. This makes me wonder if SPs do not have the same??? The pic below is the "print screen" image I took upon clicking on The Sims 2 Bon Voyage collection file: If I get a chance to load up my desktop game (in which I have several SPs as well as EPs installed), I will check to see if there are SP collection files for you. In the meantime, if you get an opportunity to load up your own game, I'll be curious to learn what you do. | |

| Thanks for helping to run a check on this!! Mucho mucho appreciated! I know the EP's have collections, I use them from time to time when I want to make a home business. I will double check on that though... We got one about 10-15 miles from us, I have thought about getting them there so I have a hard copy of the game...but also thought about buying them online...As mad as I am at EA over the Sims Medieval fiasco, I should just by the used game...got a gamestop not far too...maybe I should check there too. Thanks for helping me remember! lol I need a lot of help there! LOL | |

| Okay, popped into the game and checked every collection folder. None of them have the Holiday stuff in it...Guess I have to wait for seasons...course then it will have all of Seasons stuff in it. lol | |

| In case you don't have a copy of the original booklet that comes with the SP, here is a complete list of the catalog items from the Holiday Pack, Tim. It's a bummer there's no collection file for it in game. It'd sure make finding everything a whole bunch easier, esp. if you have a LOT of downloads installed... As far as a used copy of the EPs/SPs (from Half Price, eg), I've yet to have any problems with them. And the price is most certainly right! I've gotten most of mine (in fine condition) for $5.00, as I mentioned. I'm hoping to get there in the next few days to purchase a Holiday Pack SP myself! BTW, waaaay cool Santa avvy. I'm assuming that's YOU??? VERY festive, in keeping with the season. Love it! | |

Hohoho...yes, it's me Santa Claus...from 2003. Thank you! I came up with the idea for a promotional thing at the Office Depot I worked for. The store paid for the suit, my wife and mom worked together to make my belt for it, I had to buy 4 bottles of bleach to get the black out of my hair and beard and a 5th to touch up for the 2nd day. I was going to wait til tomorrow but I needed a happy boost today. lol Thank you for the link to the catalog info, I will check it out! The wifey is talking like she is wanting to get some of the later eps as well, so definitely going to have to hit up half price or other like place. I looked at ebay and laughed my butt off at some of the prices...and having to wait 25+ days for the auction to be over. What a joke.

| Hi all, I am having trouble locating the sim that was made by ilovefishfood for December 1, 2012 update. It is the female with the braids swept to one side she has on a red sleeveless top. Thanks for the help. Pondering should this be in the WCIF section...hmmm | |

| I did a search at amazon and they seem okay priced. Less than 20.00 bucks. | |

| Hi ranabluu. Sorry I posted my simmies late (just this morning). I was called into work yesterday and wasn't able to get them up before the update announcement came out. You'll find Lyric HERE. | |

| Thank you so much. I went on a hair hunt smh and ended up downloading about 50 hairs that I will probably never use. I think I download more than I play. Thank you for your quick response. | |

I like Amazon, use it often...Had considered buying them through them, but if I can buy local for less then $10 doesn't make sense to buy through them for more...especially if you don't know the person or can see the merchandise. I'm a little picky when it comes to used software/dvd/cd's...lol

| If I am not mistaken, $20 is not far from the original price of some of the EPs/SPs. I think I bought a brand new copy of Bon Voyage for a friend two or three Christmases ago and paid $19.99 (@ Target, I believe). I have no doubt there are better deals out there. Loved your Santa story, Tim. Four bottles of bleach! Woah! Since you have another Q & A thread (or two) started, I am going to lock this one up. We prefer one to a customer at a time, if possible. Added later on December 4: WELL, BUMMER! I visited two Half Price Books yesterday. Got all excited at the first one, as they had Holiday Stuff Pack. However, upon looking at it more closely, the SP was for a MAC puter. The second location didn't have it. Will keep on trying... 'Tis the season and all. | |

| First I'd like to say Hello. I'm LilSister I have been a registered member and a lurker for almost 2 years. Sorry for not being more of a participant. I hope I am posting in the right place. I am looking for 2 Sims that I DL from this site about I believe in 2010 or 2011-it's been a while; memory not as sharp anymore. I am looking for a female Sim named Iman and I believe the male Sim is Jamal (don't quote me on his name). I am specifically looking for Jamal and his skintone because it was dark shower proof SBB skin linked to the Hour Glass Body Shape. I have Imans Skintone but I have somehow lost the male skintone. I am frantic because his skin is belongs to Sim of one of my Legacy Sim Families. Right now he is sharing his mother's skin which is from the Sim Iman. I hope I haven't rambled too much - I need coffee. Thanks in advance for your assistance. |

| Okay, I am guessing thanks to Toni for her suggestion, that the original hood had a bug in it for the Nanny. I moved the entire downloads to my new hood and tried using the Nanny and it worked fine. It struck me at the time after it worked I remembered when it first broke, I had used the InSim's temporal adjuster to adjust the time so my sims could finish a couple of things before work/school and I am wondering if that is what bugged it to begin with. So you can delete/close this one too. Now I am just looking for a decorator for my house... | |

| I looked through a number of the sims from 2009-2011 and couldn't find a male with a strong dark color skin. Most were closer to a mocha in my opinion. Maybe someone else will have a better idea, sorry and welcome out of the shadows! | |

| Thanks for responding Grykon. I appreciate you taking the time to look for me. I FOUND IT!!!! The Skintone belongs to "Jamar" not Jamal. It's called Jamarshowerproof1. I managed to locate it on one of my numerous scandisk wth zipped files of my numerous DL Folder purges. To give you an idea of how many I have - it took me all day - literally. Thanks again for your help. |
